Juicy and tender sirloin steak is soaked in the best beef marinade, then threaded on skewers with onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms before being tossed on a hot grill for a quick 15 minutes until perfectly browned. I've been fortunate enough to have traveled extensively throughout the Middle East and have eaten numerous versions of shish kabobs (also spelled shish kebab). And if you go beyond the Middle East, different cultures have their own twist on it with a variety of marinades, veggies, and meats such as lamb, pork, or chicken. But today I'm highlighting a classic beef shish kabob recipe threaded with chunky steak bites and colorful sliced vegetables.

600g tenderloin beef
2 lemongrass
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp grated ginger
½ tsp salt
½ tbsp sugar
Ground pepper
¼ tsp baking soda
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
3 tbsp vegetable oil
14 skewer sticks

INGREDIENTS
2 lbs of lamb leg meat (at least 15% fat)
2 cups of onion slices
4-5 cloves of crushed garlic
1.5 tbsp of cumin seeds [Amazon Link:
2 tsp of Sichuan peppercorn [Amazon Link:
1 tsp of white pepper [Amazon Link:
1 tsp of fennel [Amazon Link:
2.5 tbsp mild chili flake (optional)
1 tsp of spicy chili flake (optional)
2 to 3 tsp of salt or taste

Easy Marinated Beef Kabobs are marinated in the most flavorful sauce, are super tender, and use only simple pantry ingredients. Yum!

✅Ingredients
• 2 top sirloin steaks
• 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
• 2 limes juiced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon ground ginger
• ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
• ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
✅Instructions
1️⃣ Cut the sirloin steaks into 2-inch cubes
2️⃣ In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine worcestershire, soy sauce, rice vinegar, lime juice, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and cilantro.
3️⃣ Add the sirloin cubes into the bowl and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
4️⃣ Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before use.
5️⃣ Preheat a gas grill to high heat. Remove the steak from the fridge and thread onto skewers, leaving a little space between each cube to allow for even cooking.
6️⃣ Cook on the grill until desired doneness is achieved. For medium rare this should only be 1 minute per side for a total of 4 minutes.
