Peanut Clusters {no bake candy made in the crockpot!}
SLOW COOKER PEANUT CLUSTERS
--------------Click on SHOW MORE to see the FULL RECIPE--------------
Add some peanut cluster candy to your holiday cookie trays. These no-bake treats are so easy to make.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs. salted dry roasted peanuts (I get these in the bulk section of the store)
11.5 oz. pkg. milk chocolate chips
11.5 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
11.5 oz. pkg. white (or vanilla milk) chocolate chips
10 oz. pkg. peanut butter chips
SLOW COOKER SIZE:
6-quart or larger
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add the peanuts and baking chips to the slow cooker. Stir.
Place the lid on a slow cooker. Cook on LOW for about 1.5 hours. This timing will depend on your slow cooker. STIR OFTEN. This will burn if left too long since it's real chocolate.
Turn off the slow cooker after the chocolate has completely melted. Remove the insert out of the base onto potholders.
Line 3 baking sheets with parchment or wax paper. Scoop the mixture onto cookie sheets on the lined baking sheets. I use a medium-sized cookie scoop, though you can use 2 tablespoons, use one to scoop and one to scrape the mixture onto the pans. Flatten the mixture into a flat cookie shape.
Add sprinkles if desired.
Place the sheet pans of clusters in the fridge to set up. This takes about 3 hours.

☞ Ingredients
70% dark chocolate 40g
milk chocolate 100g
raw peanuts 60g
fleur de sel, just a little bit (or seasalt, optional)
nutella 20g (optional)
☞ Instructions
1. Wash raw peanuts thoroughly in cool water and then place them on a kitchen towel or paper towel to pat them dry.
2. Place peanuts in a single layer in a pan on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stir them often to avoid getter bitter and burn.
3. Once you smell peanutty and the color turns to be golden brown. Turn off the heat and pour out the peanuts and let cool. Set aside.
4. After the peanuts have completely cooled, gently remove the skins by fingers or by rolling the nuts between your hands. There are a number of ways you can crunch the skins off.
5. Chop the chocolate into small pieces and throw all into a medium bowl.
6. Pour some simmer water in a large bowl, and set the chocolate bowl over it. Sit for 5 minutes to melt the chocolate.
7. Once chocolate is looking almost melted, stir until completely smooth.
8. Adding a little bit of fleur de sel or sea salt and nutella sauce(optional). Stir to smooth. And then add peanuts, mix until they are all coated. Refrigerate for 8 minutes.
9. Line a tray with parchment paper. Scoop out a half ball of the chocolate peanut mixture (a bite size) onto the parchment.
10. Repeat until all the mixture are finished. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until solid. It's down.
