डाळफळं बनवण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• १ कप गव्हाचं पीठ
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• पाणी
• २ चमचे तेल
• १/२ चमचा मोहरी
• १/२ चमचा जिरं
• कढीपत्ता
• बारीक चिरलेला टोमॅटो
• १ छोटी वाटी किसलेली लसूण
• १~२ उभ्या चिरलेल्या हिरव्या मिरच्या

Dal fal or varan fal is a traditional recipe. It is also known as dal dhokli in Gujarat. We already have seen varan fal recipe. Today we are making this in cooker in easy way using fenugreek. This comfort food can be one dish meal. If you are bored of making chapatti and sabzi separately, this is thebest option for you. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 2 cups Wheat flour
• Salt to taste
• Water
• 2 tsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• Curry leaves
• Finely chopped Tomato
• 1 katori grated Garlic
• 1~2 slit Green chilies
• 1/4 tsp Hing
• 1 cup finely chopped Fenugreek leaves
• 1/2 cup cooked Tur dal
• Water
• 1 tsp Goda masala
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• 1 tsp Coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• Kokam petal
• 1/2 tsp Gudh / Jaggery
Method:
• Take wheat flour in a dish and add salt.
• Mix well and add a little water at a time to knead stiff dough.
• You can add red chili powder turmeric powder in this flour if you want.
• Rub a little oil, cover and rest the dough for about 10-15 minutes.
• Heat up oil in medium heat in a cooker.
• Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
• Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, tomato and fry everything for a minute or two.
• Add garlic, green chilies, hing and fry everything for about a minute.
• Add fenugreek leaves and fry well.
• Add cooked tur dal, water to adjust the consistency, goda masala, red chili powder, coriander
powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
• The consistency of the dal should be runny.
• Bring it to boil.
• Turn the gas to low heat and add kokam, gudh.
• Mix well and simmer on low heat.
• Take the dough and rub a little oil on it.
• Knead it well to make it smooth and even.
• Take a small portion from the dough and make it smooth and even.
• Roll as thin chapatti as possible.
• Do not use any dry flour while rolling the chapatti. If needed, use a little oil.
• Cut it into the shape and size you want.
• Transfer the pieces into the mixture in cooker.
• Stir the mixture at the intervals so that the dal fal won’t stick to each other.
• Close the lid and cook on medium to high heat until 1 whistle.
• Open the lid and dal fal are all ready.
• Serve it with peanut chutney, papad and lot of ghee.

Ingredients:
2 tbsp Ghee
1/2 tsp Asafoetida
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
Curry Leaves
4 Green Chillies (slit)
5 Garlic Cloves (crushed)
1 cup Split Pigeon Peas (cooked)
1 cup Water
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Goda Masala
Salt
2-3 Kokum
1/2 tsp Jaggery
Chapati Dough
Oil
Coriander Leaves
Method: Let's start with adding Ghee in the Heated Vessel then add Asafoetida, Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Curry Leaves, Green Chillies (slit), Garlic Cloves (crushed). Next saute the mixture till the Garlic turned golden on medium Flame, then add Split Pigeon Peas (cooked), Water, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Goda Masala. Mix it properly and then boil it then add Kokum, Jaggery now let it cook for 2-3 minutes. After 3 minutes switch off the flame. Next, prepare the dough for Chapathi then make the shape of small square pieces (as shown in the video) using Oil. Now add the Chapati square pieces into the Dal with flame turned on and cook it for 6-7 minutes, after this transfer the Dal Chakloya into the Serving bowl then add Coriander Leaves on top and your Chakolya is ready to serve
