Pollo Asado Al Carbon - Grilled Chicken Recipe
Thank you for watching my pollo asado al carbon video. This pollo asado was cooked on my Yoder Flattop charcoal grill over Jealous Devil lump charcoal (carbon). The seasonings I used from PS Seasoning are a must try for pollo asado. Oh and that char you see is nothing but flavor and as I mentioned in the video, If you invite me over for a bbq, the chicken better have some char. :)

Copycat Pollo Tropical Chicken #shorts
My attempt at a copycat chicken from Pollo Tropical. Had this in Miami back in March and it was delicious.
For the marinade:
½ cup orange juice
½ cup grapefruit juice
Juice from 2 limes
¼ cup olive oil
2 tbsp minced garlic
½ minced white onion
2 tsp each: salt, pepper, cumin, dried oregano
I reserved about ¼ cup of the marinade and used the rest for the chicken. After an overnight marinade, it hit the @biggreenegg at 400 degrees. I moved it between indirect and direct heat, and basted it with the reserved marinade. Smelled amazing!!
Served it with balsamic tomatoes, also from Pollo Tropical, and dinner was delicious!! We don’t have that chain by us so this recipe is being added to the rotation lol. #reels #grillinwithdad #tasty #chicken #recipe #bbq #grill #eeeeeats #nomnom #backyardbbq #foodstagram
Pollo Asado (adobado) | Marinado 24 hrs | La Capital
Preparé un pollo completo en corte mariposa y adobado por 24 horas a base de ajo y una combinación de dos chiles.
El resultado fue un pollo suave, jugoso y con mucho sabor...en mi opinión la clave para que no se secara fue el marinado de 24 horas y retocar cada 30 o 40 min con el adobo.
La técnica de ahumado con calor indirecto es muy utilizada en el clásico bbq americano y se puede usar con cualquier tipo de carne. A mí me gusta mucho esta forma de asar porque la carne queda siempre suave y sin perder los jugos. Yo estuve asando este pollo a una temperatura alrededor de los 350-400°F por dos horas.
