How To make Spicy Wine Fruit
1 Cinnamon stick,2"
1/2 c Water
1/4 c Sugar
1 pk Mixed dried fruit(11oz)
6 Whole cloves
1/2 c Sweet red wine
2 tb Lemon juice
2 Bananas
Tie cinnamon stick and cloves in cheesecloth bag. Heat cheesecloth bag, water, wine, sugar and lemon juice to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Stir in dried fruit. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until fruit is plump and tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Refrigerate uncovered, stirring ocaasionally, at least 3 hours but no longer than 24 hours.
Remove cheesecloth bag. Slice bananas and stir into fruit mixture until coated with syrup. Drain fruit, reserving syrup. Serve fruit with some of the reserved syrup.

Get cozy and enjoy this warming mulled wine recipe filled with spices, fruit, maple syrup, and some brandy. This recipe is easy and so delicious and a great way to warm up on a cold day.
Mulled wine, also known as spiced wine, is an alcoholic drink usually made with red wine, along with various spices and sometimes raisins, served hot or warm. It is a traditional drink during the autumn and winter months.
Mulled wine recipe:
1 bottle red wine
1 orange
1 apple
1/4 cup brandy
2 anise stars
2 cinnamon sticks
4 cloves
3-4 tbsp maple syrup
Optional dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
Start by slicing your fruit. Squeeze the juice from the end pieces of the orange into your pot. Add rest of ingredients. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until it starts to steam. You don’t want it to boil because it will boil away all the alcohol. Serve and enjoy :)

Mulled wine recipe – warm spiced wine that is usually serve in Christmas and holiday season, bit not only. This drink is perfect for cozy winder evenings. Mulled wine is popular all around the world during the holidays, in Germany it’s called Glühwein, in Spain it’s called warm sangria. No matter where you are from and how to you call it, just make this drink and enjoy life.

Ingredients:
1 bottle Dry red wine
1 orange, sliced
1-2 Cinnamon sticks
2 Star anise
1 teaspoon Cardamom
1-2 tablespoons Honey/maple syrup/sugar (optional)
1/4 cup (60ml) Brandy/rum (optional)
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan combine red wine, sliced oranges, cinnamon stick, star anise, whole cloves, sweetener and brandy.
2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer (Avoid boiling, otherwise the alcohol will evaporate). Reduce to low heat and cook for 10-15 minutes.
3. Pour into glasses and serve hot or warm.
Notes:
• To make the drink stronger or lighter you can add more or less alcohol (brandy/rum/whisky).
• To add more flavor you can add chopped apple, fresh or frozen cranberries, blueberries or any fruit that you like.
