3 c Flour
1/2 c Sugar
4 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
8 tb Butter, chilled
2 Eggs
1/2 c Raspberry jam/preserves or
1/2 c Strawberry jam/preserves
3/4 c Milk
2 tb Butter
2 tb Sugar

2 tb Strawberry jam
Servings: 18 Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Stir with a fork to mix all dry ingredients well. Cut the butter into small pieces and drop into the flour mixture. Using your fingers or a pastry cutter, rub or cut the cold butter into the flour until mixture resembles coarse bread crumbs. Beat the eggs well in a small bowl, add the jam or preserves and milk; whisk until the mixture is blended smooth. Stir the egg mixture into the flour mixture and stir only until no flour streaks show--the mixture wil be lumpy. Spoon into the loaf pan and bake for about 1 hour 15 minutes, or until a straw inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow loaf to remain in the pan for 15 to 20 minutes before turning it out onto a rack. Meanwhile, make the glaze by combining the butter, sugar, and jam in a pan. Stir and bring to a simmer; continue stirring until dissolved and blended. Strain and then spoon the glaze over the loaf after it has cooled on the rack. Source: The Breakfast Book, Marion Cunningham

5 cups of flour (600 gr) + ~30-50 gr to work with dough
100 gr butter

How to make a soft and fluffy Raisin Bread.
Here are the ingredients:
1 cup milk (250ml) (room temp)
1 egg
2¼ tsp instant yeast (7g)
¼ cup sugar (50g)
3 ¼ cups all purpose flour (406g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
1/4 cup softened butter (50g)
1 cup raisin for the dough and 1/2 cup more for the filling
Eggwash: 1 egg yolk + 1 tablespoon milk

Traditional white bread is usually made from bread flour because it is higher in gluten. I don’t buy much of it myself and I figured a lot of you are on the same boat. When I make my bread I use all purpose flour and it works amazing. So, if bread flour is keeping you from making your own bread turn on the oven and put on your apron. White bread recipe
Oven temperature: 375F degrees
Bake time: 22-25 min or until golden brown (internal temperature of 190F)
Water milk temperature for yeast: 105F-110F
One 9x5 loaf pan
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1.Mix and knead on medium low speed only.
2. If dough is still sticking after one minute of kneading, add additional flour one TBSP at a time until the right consistency is achieved. It should feel lightly sticky when pressed and smooth.
3. Dough should proof just until doubled in size both times.
1/8 of cup warm water (28g)
1 cup of warm milk (226g)
2 tsp active dry yeast (7g)
1 TBSP sugar + a pinch (12g + a pinch)
1 TBSP unsalted butter, melted (13g)
2 TBSP softened room temperature unsalted butter (30g)

2 1/4 cup All purpose flour + 3 TBS (359g)
Spray for greasing bowl & plastic wrap
Important: If your bread is not golden brown and has not reached an internal temperature of 190F degrees. Let it bake longer. The time the bread bakes may vary depending on your oven.

How to Make a Homemade Artisan Country Loaf Bread Recipe
Prep Time 5 hours

Ingredients:
560 grams of 00 bread flour
190 grams of whole wheat flour
600 grams of water at 98° to 100°f or 36-37c
17 grams of Kosher salt
3 grams of active yeast
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl combine with your hands the flours and water until completely mixed together. Let rest for 10 minutes.
2. Next, sprinkle the salt and yeast overtop and mix it into the dough by pinching, stretching and folding the dough over for 4 to 5 minutes.
3. Cover and rest the dough in a warm dark place for 15 to 20 minutes before folding the dough over 5 to 6 times.
4. Cover and rest for 45 to 60 minutes and then fold the dough over 5 to 6 times again.
5. Cover and rest for 2 hours or until it has tripled in size.
6. Dust a clean surface with flour and place the dough onto it. Sprinkle the top with flour and fold the dough over in thirds 3 to 4 times and then begin to mold the dough into a ball by cupping around the dough into the bottom.
7. Place the dough into a floured Benetton and cover and rest for 60 minutes.
8. In the meantime, place a small Dutch oven pot into the oven on 475° for at least 30 minutes.
9. Flip the dough right into the hot Dutch oven pot, cover it and return it to the oven and bake for 30 minutes
10. Let cool for 20 to 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
