How To make Sweet Potato Cheesecake
Crust: 1 1/2 c Graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c Granulated sugar
1/3 c Butter or margarine; melted
Cheesecake: 3 3 oz pkgs cream cheese; soft
1 c Granulated sugar
1/4 c Light brown sugar
1 3/4 c Sweet potatoes, mashed
2 Eggs
2/3 c Evaporated milk; undiluted
2 tb Cornstarch
1/4 ts Ground cinnamon
1/8 ts Ground nutmeg
Topping: 2 c Sour cream; room temperature
1/3 c Granulated sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
Recipe by: Sweet Potato Festival, Vardamon, Mississippi, 1994 Crust: Combine crumbs, sugar, and butter in bowl. Press onto bottom and 1 inch up on sides of 9 inch springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes. Do not allow to brown. Remove from oven and cool. Cheesecake: Beat cream cheese, sugar and brown sugar in large bowl. Beat sweet potatoes, eggs, and milk. Add cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg. Beat well. Pour into crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes or until edge is set. Topping: Combine sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Spread over warm cheeseca Return to 350 degree oven and bake 5 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Remove side of pan and chill several hours or overnight.

1 cup whipping cream

Gingersnap Crust:
* 43 gingersnap cookies
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1 tsp ground cinnamon
* 6 Tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted
Brown Butter Sweet Potato Pie Filling:
* 1/2 cup unsalted butter
* 1lb sweet potatoes, washed and scrubbed (2-3 medium)
* 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
* 1 and 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
* 1 Tbsp cornstarch
* 1 tsp ground cinnamon
* 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
* 1/2 tsp ground ginger
* 1/4 tsp ground cloves
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/2 cup heavy cream
* 2 large eggs, room temperature
Maple Cheesecake:
* 3 (8-ounce) packages (24 oz) full-fat cream cheese, room temperature
* 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
* 1 Tbsp cornstarch
* 1/2 cup sour cream, room temperature
* 1/2 cup maple syrup
* 1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
* 3 large eggs, room temperature
* 1 large egg yolk

4 tbsp butter

Greetings and Salutations Good People! We are back with a Holiday Banger for your Hair Tops!! Today, we are hooking up the hood concoction known as Sweet Potato Cheesecake! Thats right, my version of this fusion desert. Come on with me as we hook up some goodness!

What you will need
Sweet Potato Filling:
2 Large Sweet Potatoes
1/2 Cup Softened Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Evaporated milk
2 Large Eggs (Room Temp)
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Cheesecake filling:
3 eight Oz blocks Cream Cheese (Room Temp)
3 Eggs (Room Temp)
1 Cup Sugar
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Crust:
4 Cups Golden Gram Cereal
5 Tablespoons Melted butter
2 Tablespoons Sugar
Notes: Baked sweet potatoes for 1 hour at 375. Pre baked crust at 350 for 8 mins. Baked Sweet Potato Cheesecake at 350 for 55 mins. Let cool for 4 hours then refrigerate overnight for best results.
