How To make Teriyaki Flank Steak
2 lb Beef flank steak
1/4 c Dry sherry
1/4 c Soy sauce
1/4 c Water
2 tb Lemon juice, fresh
1 tb Sugar
1/2 ts Ginger-root, grated
1 Garlic clove, minced
Freeze steak for 20 minutes or until firm. With sharp knife, slice across the grain into 1/4" thick diagonal slices. Arrange slices in shallow baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat. Cover; refrigerate several hours or overnight. About 45 minutes before cooking, light the fire. Place grill 4" above the coals. Drain meat, reserving marinade. Gently lay strips across grill. Cook 3-4 minutes, turning once and basting with reserved marinade. NOTE: If available, use hinged grilling rack, which will make it easier to turn meat.

If you’re looking for a creative new dish to make on your Blackstone, Camp Chef, or Pit Boss flat top grill, then try this awesome real Hawaiian beef teriyaki on the griddle!
You’ll notice that this Hawaiian teriyaki beef on the griddle is missing a key Hawaiian ingredient… pineapple! That’s because when teriyaki originated in Hawaii, pineapples hadn’t even been brought to the islands yet. So no, pineapple juice is not an ingredient in authentic Hawaiian teriyaki. And you really don’t miss it, trust me!
We used thin sliced flank steak for our Hawaiian teriyaki steak, because that’s the most authentic. But you can also use this awesome marinade for chicken, fish, or pork.

Preparation Teriyaki Flank Steak:
Slightly score the me.at from both sides. Season with Sugar and Salt from both sides (according to taste) and dry brine the Flank Steak for 1 hour. In the meantime preheat your grill for direct heat.
Sear the Flank for 2 minutes from each side. After the first flip, start to glaze the me.at with Teriyaki Sauce. Repeat the glazing twice (1 min. per side) or as often as it needs to reach your desired doneness.
Leave to rest for 10 minutes and enjoy.
