How To Make An Almond Milk Latte: Light Almond Milk Latte Recipe
These days, non-dairy lattes are all the rage, and there are so many milk alternatives out there that it's hard to keep up. The reign of the traditional two percent milk seems to have come to an end, and drinks like oat or coconut milk have stepped up to fill the role. In fact, non-dairy options have become so popular that, to some, you're behind the times if you're still ordering a drink with whole milk.
Of course, at the end of the day, the coffee you're drinking should be filled with things you like, so don't feel pressured to toss out all of your dairy milk and replace it with nut milk if you don't really want to. But we will say there are some pretty delicious non-dairy drinks out there you might really enjoy if you give them a chance, including smooth, creamy almond milk lattes.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1/3 cup of strong brewed coffee 2/3 cup of vanilla almond milk 1 teaspoon of sugar A saucepan
There are actually a few reasons many go nuts for the nut-based milk alternative, one being that almond milk is lower in calories than cow's milk, making this an excellent choice for coffee fanatics who are looking to shed a few pounds. Coming in at a close second and third on the list of almond milk's benefits are its low sugar content and high amount of vitamin E.
