How To make Almond Joy Chocolate Pie

ALMOND JOY CRUST:
20 ALMOND JOY candy bar
Miniatures; or 10 ALMOND JOY Snack Size
3/4 c Graham cracker crumbs
FILLING:
1/2 c Sugar
1/3 c Cornstarch
1/4 c HERSHEY'S Cocoa
1/4 ts Salt
1 1/2 c Milk
1 ts Vanilla
16 ALMOND JOY candy bar
Miniatures; or 8 ALMOND JOY Snack Size,
-cut in 1/2" pieces -candy will cut easier if -placed in freezer 15 min -before cutting Sweetened whipped cream; or -whipped topping, opt Prepare Almond Joy Crust. In med saucepan, stir together sugar, starch, cocoa & salt; blend in milk. Cook over med heat, stirring constantly with wire whisk, till mix boils; boil & stir 1 min. (Mix will be very thick.) Remove from heat; blend in vanilla. Add candy pieces; stir till melted. Pour into prepared crust; press plastic wrap onto surface. Refrigerate; top with sweetened whipped cream, if desired. 6 - 8 ALMOND JOY CRUST: Preheat to 325. Lightly butter 9" pie plate. Place ingredients in food processor. Process till mix is thoroughly blended. Press onto bottom & up sides of prepared pie plate. Bake 10 min. Cool on rack. Cool completely. Almond Joy Pecan Pie & Coconut Pie!
Pecan Pie:
1 Cup Karo Dark Corn Syrup
3 Eggs
1 Cup White Sugar
2 Tbsp. Butter, melted
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/2 Cups Pecans, chopped
8 Mini Almond Joy Candy Bars
1 Unbaked 9- inch Deep Dish Pie Crust
Preheat oven to 350F
Mix together the first 5 ingredients. Mix in pecans. Place the Almond Joy candy bars in the bottom of the pie crust. Pour the pie filling into pie crust. Bake in the center of the oven for 50 to 60 minutes depending on how fast or slow your oven cooks. Mine was done in 50 minutes.
Tip: Pie is done when the center reaches 200F. Tap the center lightly it should spring back when done.
Coconut Pie:
I use the same ingredients above except for the pecans. Instead of the pecans add a 14 oz. bag of sweetened coconut. Bake at 350F for 50 minutes. Enjoy!

Almond Joy
Here's the recipe:
ALMOND JOY
1 oz. (30ml) Amaretto
1 oz. (30ml) Creme De Cacao
1/2 oz. (15ml) Coconut Rum
2 oz. (60ml) Cream
Chocolate Syrup
Coconut Flakes
Almond Joy Candy
PREPARATION
1. Rim edge of martini glass with chocolate syrup and coconut flakes. Set aside.
2. To an ice filled shaking glass add coconut rum, amaretto, creme de cacao and cream. Shake well until chilled and combined.
3. Strain mix into dressed glass and garnish with an almond joy candy. Enjoy responsibly!

Almond Joy *Inspired* Pudding Pie
Today we made our favorite pudding pie!
Ingredients:
1 box instant chocolate pudding mix (5.9 ounces)
2 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups sweetened coconut flakes
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 ready-to-eat pie crust
Instructions:
Stir together pudding mix and milk
Pour half of the prepared pudding mix into pie crust
Evenly spread coconut flakes on top of the pudding
Pour rest of pudding mix on top of the coconut flakes
Top with sliced almonds
Enjoy!
