THE CITY BAKER'S GUIDE TO COUNTRY LIVING INSPIRED APPLE BUTTERSCOTCH MUFFINS
Welcome to Bookoween! It’s a whole 31 days of bookish content to enjoy.
Today’s video is a cozy, little baking vlog. As I mentioned in the video, I pre-filmed this near the end of September. I decided I’d do a little something extra to celebrate the start of autumn this year, so I figured celebrating Mabon with some kind of apple treat would be a great way to do it. What’s more October appropriate than a witch holiday baking vlog?
The flavors of the muffins themselves were inspired by all the apple pies I read about in “The City Baker’s Guide to Country Living.” You can only read so many chapters about apple pie contests without your mouth watering! But, since I’d wanted something apple filled for breakfast, muffins seemed like the more appropriate choice.
