How To make Apple Fluff Pie
2 c Well-sweetened apple sauce
2 Eggs
2 tb Lemon juice
1 tb Flour
Few grains salt Combine apple sauce, lemon juice, salt, flour, and well-beaten egg yolks. Cook over hot water until thick and smooth. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into pastry-lined pie pan. Bake in hot oven (425 F) until crust is brown and filling is firm. -----

This pie was GONE in about 2.5 seconds after the cameras stopped rolling. My ENTIRE family was all over this like ants on Kool-Aid. And the best part??? It is sugar free! Well, mine was because my applesauce was REALLY sweet to begin with.
You could totally use sugar, sweetened applesauce, or Splenda and be just fine.. but who knew you could make a custard pie from eggs and applesauce???
If you do make this (which I HIGHLY recommend)... I'd add some nutmeg. Just to give it even more of an intricate flavor progression. My entire family agreed that the flavor of this pie was pretty cool - you taste apple first, then lemon... then meringue its a trip. Reminded me of that scene from Willy Wonka where Violet eats the dinner in a gum.
Either way, what a great something out of nothing recipe that is actually pretty healthy for you.

This apple pie it’s one of my favourite ???? and obviously my judges ( my son , my husband and my grandma ) when it’s about apple this recipe is on the top .
It doesn’t call for many ingredients or complicated techniques and looks awesome too .
Follow my recipe step by step for an incredible dessert .

Ingredients:
For the filling :
1.2 kg apples - any apples are fine
25 g unsalted butter
2 heaped tsp orange and lemon zest - the recipe you can found it on my channel
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon powder
2 tbsp vanilla essence- if you use the strong vanilla essence just use 1 tsp I’m using the artificial one that’s why I have to add a bit more
Sugar as per taste or need it depend how sweet/sour are the apples . I add 5 tbsp more because wasn’t sweet
For the sponge :
6 eggs - I had small eggs but if you have large egg then add only 5
190 g sugar
200 g unsalted butter melted and cool
1 tsp orange and lemon zest
2 tbsp vanilla essence
A pinch of salt
2 tsp baking powder
220 g plain flour
Method :
First step is to wash the apples and grate them with the skin on , because we are going to cook them you won’t feel the skin into the pie . Set aside .
Into a large non stick pan/pot over high flame melt the butter (25g) and throw in the apples and 3 tbsp sugar . The sugar will take out all the liquid from the apples . We need to cook the apples until all the liquid evaporated (see in the video) . When is not more liquid add the sugar , vanilla and cinnamon and turn off the flame . Stir well and set aside .
While the filling is cooling down let make the sponge .
Pre heat the oven at 180* C .
Into a bowl crack 6 eggs and throw in 190 g sugar . Beat for 5-6 minutes on high speed just to get double in volume and also to become thick . Pour in the melted butter ( !! Do not add the melted butter hot let it cool down !!) vanilla, baking powder, salt and the flour . Beat just to incorporate the ingredients about 30 seconds . If you will over beat then the gluten eom the flour will start to develops and won’t be soft and fluffy the sponge . So be careful .
I used a Pyrex tray 35x25 and I place a baking paper on the bottom because it’s easy to take out the pie and also hassle free . Pour just 1/3 of the batter into the tray , do not add more cos the bottom will nicely raise but the top won’t so thats why I left more batter to pour on the top .
Bake for 15 minutes .
Spread the apple filling over the sponge and then try to make it evenly as much you can . Pour the remaining of the batter over .
Bake for 30 minutes .
Remove from oven and let it to rest on the countertop for 10 minutes .
Remove carefully ( I just pop out from the corners of the baking paper ) and leave it to cool down on a cooling rack .
Before you slice it up the pie should be cold .
Dust with some powder sugar and enjoy !

Apple pie is a classic French dessert that has gained popularity in many countries around the world. It is characterized by a tender and airy dough that goes well with juicy and aromatic apples.
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 cups of flour
- 4-5 apples
- 1 teaspoon of soda
- 1 teaspoon acetic acid
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- powdered sugar for decoration
Preparation:
Prepare the apples: wash, peel, core and cut into thin slices or cubes. Sprinkle cinnamon over the apples and stir.
Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy. Add flour, mix thoroughly until smooth. Mix baking soda with acetic acid and add to the mixture, then stir.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking dish with baking paper and grease with butter. Pour half the batter into the baking dish and spread evenly over the bottom.
Place a layer of apples on the dough and cover with the remaining dough.
Smooth the surface of the pie and carefully insert a few pieces of apples into the dough.
Bake the pie in the oven for 40-50 minutes until the crust is golden and springy to the touch. Check readiness with a toothpick: it should be dry when it comes out of the pie.
Let the cake cool in the pan, then remove it and transfer it to a plate. Decorate the finished apple pie with powdered sugar and fresh apples if desired.
