How To make Banana Layer Cake
2 1/4 C. sifted flour
1 1/4 C. sugar
2 1/2 Tsp. baking powder
1/2 Tsp. baking soda
1/2 Tsp. salt
1/2 C. Crisco shortening
1 1/2 C. mashed
ripe bananas
2 eggs
1 Tsp. vanilla
Banana Frosting: 1/4 C. softened margarine
1 Lb. confectioners sugar
1/2 C. mashed :
ripe bananas
1/2 Tsp. lemon juice
Into large mixing bowl, sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the shortening, 1/2 cup mashed bananas and eggs. Beat mixture for 2 minutes at medium speed with an electric mixer. Scrape down bowl and beaters, then add the remaining 1 cup of mashed bananas and vanilla. Beat batter for 1 full minute at medium speed. Pour batter into two greased and floured 8-inch round cake pans. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center of layer comes out clean. Cool in pans on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pans. Return layers to wire racks. Cool completely. Frost.
Banana Frosting: Cream margarine with electric mixer, then add 1/2 of the confectioners sugar and beat well. Blend in lemon juice and bananas, then add remaining sugar and beat well.

These banana cake layers are amazing! I'm now doing a flavor of the month, with a set of videos that coincide. This first video takes us through the process of creating perfect banana cake layers to start off. Stay tuned for tomorrow's video showing how to make banana buttercream icing!
*I apologize that my editor didn't include Baking Soda in the video. This recipe calls for both 1 tsp. of baking powder, and 1 tsp. of baking soda.
Here’s the written recipe:
1 cup unsalted butter (226 g)
2 cups sugar (400 g)
1/2 cup brown sugar (110 g)
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla (10 g)
Four medium or three large bananas mashed
4 1/2 cups (540 g)
1 teaspoon baking powder (4 g)
1 teaspoon baking soda (6 g)
1 teaspoon salt (5 g)
1/2 cup sour cream (114 g)
1 1/2 cups buttermilk (336 g) milk may be substituted

잘 익은 바나나로 만들면 풍미를 제대로 느낄 수 있어요.

그것과 만드는 방법이 거의 같은데요.. 재료만 바나나에요.
여기에 마스카포네를 듬뿍 넣은 생크림과 바닐라 듬뿍 넣은 페스트리 크림이 샌딩되어
환상의 조화를 이룬답니다.
그닥 어려운 부분 없고요. 정말 만들기 간단하지만 맛있는 케이크 추천 드려요.
또 지난 영상에 만든 파스티아주 데이지 꽃을 장식해서 러블리함을 보여드리고 싶었어요.
파스티아주 반죽으로 만든 꽃은 폰단트 반죽 보다 단단해요.
생크림 케이크에 붙였는데, 표면이 살짝 촉촉해 지긴해도 모양은 오래 지속 됩니다.
이 정도면 케이크 데코레이션으로 아주 적합한것 같네요.

This time, I made a banana cake. If you make it with ripe bananas, you can taste the deep banana flavor.

This banana cake is almost the same as how to make carrot cake. The only different ingredients are bananas.
Here, the Heavy cream with mascarpone cheese and pastry cream are layered. Their harmony is so fantastic!
It's really easy to make and has a lovely taste.
In addition, I wanted to show the loveliness by decorating the Pastillage daisy flower that I made in the previous video.
Flowers made from Sugar paste are a little harder than fondant. I put it on the whipped cream, but the surface lasts a long time, even though it is slightly moist.
I think this is very suitable for cake decorations.
