Easy Classic Three Bean Salad (2018)
You can make the classic three-bean salad in no time at all. Everyone loves this classic salad recipe. A three bean salad is perfect for a picnic or a barbeque.
Recipe
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 15 ounce can of wax beans
1 15 ounce can of green beans
1 15 ounce can of kidney beans
In a small bowl combine vegetable oil, white vinegar, sugar, celery seed, ground black pepper, and salt. Whisk together well. In another bowl combine, 1 can of drained wax beans, 1 can of drained green beans, and 1 can of kidney beans that you have rinsed and drained. Add 1/4 cup chopped celery, and add 2 tablespoons of chopped white onions. Stir to combine. Add dressing to the beans, and stir until well blended. Let rest in a covered container in the refrigerator before serving.

Ingredients:
For the salad:
1 can (15oz/g) Chickpeas
1 can (15oz/g) Red kidney beans
1 can (15oz/g) White kidney beans
2 Celery stalks
1 medium Cucumber, diced
1/2 Red onion, chopped
2 tablespoons Parsley
For the dressing:
3 tablespoons Olive oil
3 tablespoons Lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix chickpeas, red beans, white beans, chopped celery stalks, diced cucumber, chopped red onion and chopped parsley.
2. In a separate small bowl whisk all dressing ingredients.
3. Pour the dressing over the salad, mix well and serve.

• 3 (15-ounce) cans beans, drained and rinsed or use 4 ½ cups cooked beans
• 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped (about 3/4 cup)
• 1 medium cucumber, finely chopped (about 2 cups)
• 3 tablespoons drained capers
• 1/2 cup (60 grams) finely chopped fresh parsley, see notes
• 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano, see notes
FOR THE DRESSING
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) red wine vinegar
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) extra-virgin olive oil
• 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
• 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup, optional
• 3/4 teaspoon fine sea salt, plus more to taste
• 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

1½ pounds (700 grams) of green beans
15 cherry tomatoes halved
10 leaves (10 grams) of fresh basil
3 ounces (80 grams) of dairy-free feta cheese or more to taste
FOR THE MUSTARD DRESSING
3 tablespoons (35 grams) yellow mustard or 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons (30 grams) olive oil
2 tablespoons (30 grams) red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
