How To Make Cake in Pressure Cooker | Malai Cake | Homemade Cake Recipe | Easy & Simple Cake | Eggless Cake Recipe
Malai cake is a delectable dessert recipe. This yummy and easy dessert recipe can be served on any occasion and even in parties. Made with fresh cream and maida, it is an easy to make dessert recipe.
INGREDIENTS :
1. 150 Grams Flour
2. 1 Tsp Baking Powder
3. 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
4. 1 Tblspn Milk Powder
5. 1 Bowl Malai
6. 1 Bowl Brown Sugar
7. 3/4th Bowl of Milk
NOTE : COOK ON LOW FLAME
Procedure :
STEP 1 : PRE-HEAT SETUP PROCESS
Add 1 Cup Salt in a Cooker,Spread it evenly & Place heat proof stand for Cake Pan/Container.
Heat it on low flame for 5-7 Minutes.
STEP 2 : Preparation of Basic Ingredients
Sift together the basic ingredients in a different bowl : Flour, Baking Powder & Baking Soda in above mentioned quantity.
Then, Add Milk Powder to it.
STEP 3 : CAKE BATTER
Take another bowl & Add Malai & Brown Sugar to it.
Mix it well.
Once basic batter gets formed, Add some sifted mixture flour prepared in STEP 2 & Whisk it.
Pour little amount of milk (Keep doing it gradually) & Beat it properly.
Add rest of the remaining mixture flour & follow the same process.
Continue adding milk (gradually) & beat the mixture until you reach your perfect consistency.
Make sure it should not be runny or watery.
Again add remaining amount of milk ( remaining 3/4th bowl ).
Cake Batter should end up quite fluffy yet thick as shown.
4. STEP 4 : BAKE THE CAKE
Use regular aluminium cake pan/container that should be able to take dry heat inside cooker.
Brush it little with oil.
Put the butter paper inside & brush it up a little with oil as well.
Pour the cake batter to it.
Gently, Shake the Pan or tap the sides.
Place the cake pan in pre-heated setup (Cooker) & Bake it for 40-45 Minutes.
Secure the lid firmly & tightly on cooker & remember to remove the vent weight (whistle).
After 45 Minutes :
Kindly have a look on the cake.
Top should be brown & you can check it by inserting a tooth pick in center of cake , it should come out clean, with no sticky batter on it.
Let it become warm.
Remove the cake gently from cake pan & take off the butter paper.
Enjoy the fresh baked homemade cake :)

Scrumptious Brown Sugar Pound Cake

Eggs, at room temperature- 3 large eggs
Milk, at room temperature- 3 tbsp
Pure vanilla extract- 1 1/2 tsp
Light brown sugar- 3/4 cup
All-purpose flour or cake flour- 1 1/4 cups
Baking powder- 1 tsp
Salt- 1/4 tsp
Butter, unsalted, at room temperature- 3/4 cup
*For frosting
Butter, melted- 3 tbsp
Light brown sugar- 1/3 cup
Vanilla extract- 1/2 tsp
Cream- 2 tbsp
Mixed nuts- 2/3 cup
????Preparation
*Preheat the oven to 350 F or 180 C.
*Grease a loaf pan with butter, line with parchment paper.
*To a bowl, add eggs & beat well; add milk & vanilla extract, beat well.
*To another bowl, add brown sugar, flour, baking powder & salt, beat at low speed for a minute.
*Cut the butter into small cubes.
*Add to the flour mix, add half of the egg-milk mixture, beat at low speed for 2 minutes.
*Add the remaining egg-milk mixture, beat till well incorporated.
*Pour the batter onto a loaf pan.
*Keep in the preheated oven on the middle rack, bake for 55 minutes.
*Make the frosting- in a bowl, add butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract & cream, beat till thick.
*Add the mixed nuts & mix well.
*After 55 minutes, take the cake out of the oven.
*Insert a fork into the centre, if it comes out clean cake has baked perfectly.
*Spread the frosting on the cake.
*Turn on the broiler in the oven to high. Let the heating elements turn red.
*Place the pan under the broiler & broil for 2 minutes, keep an eye on it it can burn really fast.
*Let the top turn golden brown & bubbly, take it out of the oven.
*Let the cake cool down completely.
*Slice the cake & enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea.
*Buttery, rich pound cake with a caramel taste.

Brown Sugar Pound Cake Recipe:
3 eggs room temperature
3 tablespoons (45 grams) milk, at room temperature
1 1/2 teaspoons (6 grams) pure vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups (150 grams) flour
1 teaspoon (4 grams) baking powder
1/4 teaspoon (1 gram) salt
1/2 cup light brown sugar (firmly packed)
1/4 cup castor sugar
3/4 cup (170 grams) butter, at room temperature
Brown Sugar Pound Cake: Preheat your oven to (180 degrees C) and place the oven rack in the center of the oven. Grease a 9x5 loaf tin .
In another bowl add your flour and baking powder keep aside
Cream the butter and sugar till fluffy, add the eggs one by one mixing after each addition .
Add the flour in three additions and alternate between the milk and flour till fully incorporated do not over mix .
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with an offset spatula or the back of a spoon. Bake for about 50 to 60 minutes or until the cake is golden brown cake tester or toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. (The cake will crack down the center... that is a happy crack ) If it is browning to fast lightly cover with a greased foil.
Remove the cake from the oven and allow to cool and tip out .
