1/2 c Butter 1/3 c Sugar 1 Egg 1 ts Vanilla extract 1/2 ts Baking powder Put butter into heavy skillet and slowly heat until butter is browned about 5 minutes. turn into mixing bowl. beat the butter with the sugar, egg, vanilla until light. Add flour and baking powder, stirring to make a stiff dough. Shape into little balls using about 1 level tablespoon dough for each. Place on cookie sheet. Press center down with thumb to make and indentation. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are firm but not overlybrowned. -----

Things you will need sheet pan or cookie sheet parchment paper ( not wax paper ) Saran Wrap measuring spoons and cups 1 large bowl 1 ice cream scooper medium pot whisk rubber spatcular
Preheat oven to 350
INGREDIENTS:
2 sticks butter 1 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 2 eggs 1 tbs vanilla extract ( imitation vanilla is fine ) 1 teaspoon kosher salt or table salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 3 teaspoon cornstarch -2 cups all purpose flour plus two tablespoons -1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips ( you canadd chocolate chunks if you want, plus more for topping ) -1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts ( plus more for topping ) * 1 ice cream scooper *
Note* if you decided to use a smaller scooper instead of the 2 1/4 scooper like I did .. please adjust cooking time. Bake cookies for 8 mins instead. * Please understand that the cookies will seem a bit under cooked once removed from the oven, but dont be alarmed they will Harden as they cool *
* Please cook larger cookies for 9-10 mins (same size as cookies in v video * * *if using a mini scooper bake cookies for 6-7 mins *
* you can also freeze this cookie dough to use at a later time *

INGREDIENTS: 1 1/4 (156 g)cup all purpose flour 1/2 tsp. (3 g)salt 1/2 tsp. (2 g)baking soda 1/2 cup ( 112 g/4 oz.)unsalted butter, browned and cooled 1/2 (110 g) cup brown sugar 1/4 (55 g) cup white sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. (4.2 g) vanilla extract 1/2 cup (80 g/4 oz.) semisweet chocolate chunks/ chips * feel free to add more chocolate chips if you like
Yield: 8 (4 oz. ) cookies
TIPS: 1. Make sure to transfer the butter immediately to a bowl after browning to stop the cooking process. 2. Cool the browned butter before adding the sugars. If the butter is not cooled, your cookies will become greasy. 3. Do not overmix the cookie dough. 4. Baking times may vary depending on the size. I used a 1/4 cup cookie scoop in the video, baked them for exactly 12 minutes. Smaller cookies means less baking time. DO NOT OVERBAKE. 5. Cool completely in a cooling rack. Enjoy!
