How To make Cheddar & Bacon Bread
2 1/2 ts Yeast
3 c Bread flour
1/2 ts Salt
1 tb Sugar
1 1/3 tb Butter
1 c Milk
ADD FOLLOWING 1ST KNEADING:
2/3 c Shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 c Cooked, crumbled bacon
Bring all ingredients to room temperature and pour into bakery, in order. Set "baking control" at 10 o'clock. Select "white bread" and push Start. In hot & humid weather, use 1/8 c less water.

This recipe is SO simple and the possibilities are endless... don't have bacon? (you monster!) (just kidding) But you have cheddar? Parmesan? Thyme? Chop 'em up and make a new combo! BACON CHEDDAR SHORTBREAD | ANNA OLSON
These delightfully tender savoury shortbread cookies are a great companion to a cheese tray, a bowl of soup or stew, as a base for an hors d’oeuvre, or on their own with a little pepper jelly. They also make a fantastic homemade host gift.
Makes about 4 dozen shortbreads:
4 strips smoked bacon
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp sugar
¼ tsp ground black pepper
½ cup cold butter, cut into pieces
6 oz coarsely grated old Cheddar cheese (about 2 cups)
1. Cook the bacon until crisp, and pat off any excess fat.
2. Using a food processor, Pulse the bacon with the flour, sugar and black
pepper until the bacon is finely chopped. Add the butter and pulse until blended, then add the Cheddar and pulse until the dough comes together. Shape the dough into 2 logs, wrap in plastic and chill until firm, at least an hour. The dough can also be frozen and thawed in the fridge for baking later.
3. Preheat the oven to 350F and line 2 baking trays with parchment paper.
Slice coins about ¼-inch thick and arrange these on the trays, leaving about ½-
inch between the cookies. Bake for 15-18 minutes until the shortbread are lightly browned on the bottom. Cool the cookies on the tray before removing.
The shortbread will keep up to a week in an airtight container.

We broke out the ole Breadman Bread machine and made fresh cheddar cheese and bacon bread! Easy and delicious! Here's how to make it:
INGREDIENTS (for one pound loaf)
-2/3 cup of milk
-1 tbs butter

Ingredients
200 grams bacon
1.5 cups almond flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
4 tablespoons butter melted and cooled
1/3 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 150C (300f) and line and grease a loaf pan
Dice the bacon and fry in a large frying pan until just crispy.
Meanwhile, in a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour and baking powder, breaking up any lumps in the flour.
In a smaller bowl, whisk together the sour cream and eggs until it is a smooth consistency.
Once the bacon is cooked, combine the almond flour with the sour cream and eggs and mix thoroughly until combined.
Stir through the melted butter and then gently fold through the cooked bacon and cheese.
Pour into the prepared loaf tin. Optionally, sprinkle with extra cheese. Bake for 45 - 50 minutes until a skewer comes out completely clean. Let cool and refrigerate before slicing to avoid it being too crumbly
