❤️ CROCKPOT BBQ CHICKEN RECIPE Step by Step instructions start with 4-8 clean and dried chicken thighs (legs too) that are seasoned liberally with my new favorite barbecue rub. Pour 1/4 cup my new favorite BBQ sauce in bottom of slow cooker. Add chicken to crockpot and drizzle a little barbeque sauce on top. Cook on low for 3-6 hours! Chicken is done when meat thermometer reads 165 degrees. Optional: place chicken in casserole dish and broil on high in oven for 5 minutes to add a crunchy top layer to chicken! This crockpot BBQ chicken is the perfect dish for beginners! Also a perfect easy summer dish for July 4th, Labor Day, and other celebrations that won't heat up the kitchen. Cook with me & enjoy. Pulled BBQ Chicken Crockpot Recipe
Doesn't get much easier than this. All you need is a crockpot, chicken breast and a bbq sauce of your choice.
Simply put the chicken breast in the crockpot and cover with sauce. Set the crockpot on low and allow to cook for 6 hours. At this time shred the chicken. You can either eat it as is, or for more flavor, put it back in the crockpot for 2 more hours. Either way, it's a great easy meal (and leaves plenty of leftovers).
