How To make Chocolate Prune Cake
1 c Pitted prunes cut up
1 ts Baking soda
1 c Boiling water
1 c Butter
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 3/4 c Flour
2 tb Cocoa
Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare a bundt pan. Sprinkle soda on prunes. Pour boiling water over and allow to cool. Cream butter and sugar in food processor. Add eggs. Add prune mixture and whir about 15 seconds. Add flour sifted with cocoa. Mix till blended with on/off motion. Pour into pan. Bake 45-55 minutes. When cool, turn out. Sprinkle with icing (powdered) sugar if you like. This is a deliciously moist cake. -----

INGREDIENTS
200 gm cake flour
200 gm butter - room temperature
200 gm gula apong ( palm sugar) or just sugar
200 gm dried prune
200 gm dried cranberry
2 medium sized egg - room temperature
2 tsp baking powder
METHOD
1. Cream butter and palm sugar till light and fluffy
2. Add eggs and beat till well combined
3. Separately, mix blended fruit into sieved flour and baking powder
4. Then add half of the fruit mixture into batter and beat till well mixed, finish off with the other half of fruit mixture
5. Pour batter into a 9” x 6” baking pan and steam for 4 hours.
6. Constantly pour boiling water to refill the water in the steamer
7. 4 hours later, take it out of steamer and let it cool for at least 2 hours on a rack before cutting.
The 4 hours of waiting is so so worth it❤️

Base:
• 2 cups rolled oats (
• 1/2 cup raw cashew (
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon (

Prune Layer:
• 3 cups pitted prunes (
• 3 tbs cocoa (
• 1/2 cup shredded coconut (
• 2 tbs maple syrup
• pinch sea salt (
• 2 tbs water
Top:
• 1/3 cup shredded coconut
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
3. Make the base: Add all the base ingredients to a food processor and blend until they form a sticky mixture. Press this evenly into the baking pan.
4. Clean the food processor and then blend together all the ingredients for the chocolate layer. Spread this mixture evenly over the base.
5. You can use a wet fork to smooth the sticky mixture. Sprinkle coconut over the top to cover it.
6. Bake in the oven for 20 min. If you'd like to toast the coconut, place the slice under the broiler for a minute or two.
7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 min before cutting and serving. Enjoy!

Chocolate prune cake… كيك الشوكولا بالقراصيا ????
*chocolate prunes cake:
ingredients:
125ml water
1Tbsp molasses
170g pitted prunes
half a teaspoon sodium bicarbonate
250g dark chocolate
150g butter
180g almond meal
15g cocoa powder
half a teaspoon salt
5 eggs (separated)
150g sugar
*chocolate sauce ingredients:
40g cocoa powder
100g sugar
150ml water
half a teaspoon instant coffee
For the cake:
add chocolate and butter together then melt on a water bath, set aside to cool slightly
bring water, molasses and prunes to the boil then add bicarbonate. soda , blitz in a blender then set aside to cool slightly
in a bowl,beat egg yolks and sugar till pale and fluffy , add the chocolate mixture and mix then sift the almonds,salt and cocoa powder, mix well.
beat egg whites to soft peaks then fold it into the cake batter .pour in a lined 28 cm pan.
bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees celsius for 40 minutes
For the sauce:
add all the ingredients together and mix well.
bring to the boil then lower the heat and simmer for 7-10 minutes
* كعكة القراصيا و الشوكولاتة:
مكونات:
125 مل ماء
1 ملعقة كبيرة دبس
170 جرام برقوق منزوع النواة
نصف ملعقة صغيرة من بيكربونات الصوديوم
250 جرام شوكولاتة داكنة
150 جرام زبدة
180 جرام لوز
15 جرام مسحوق كاكاو
نصف ملعقة صغيرة ملح
5 بيضات (منفصلة)
150 جرام سكر
* مكونات صوص الشوكولاتة:
40 جرام مسحوق كاكاو
100 جرام سكر
150 مل ماء
نصف ملعقة صغيرة قهوة سريعة الذوبان
للكيك:
تُضاف الشوكولاتة والزبدة معًا ثم تذوب علي حمام مائي ، وتترك جانباً لتبرد قليلاً
نحضر الماء والعسل الاسود و القراصيا حتى الغليان ثم نضيف البيكربونات. صودا ، تضرب في الخلاط ثم توضع جانبا لتبرد قليلا
في وعاء ، اخفقي صفار البيض والسكر حتى يصبح شاحبًا ورقيقًا ، ثم أضيفي خليط الشوكولاتة واخلطي اللوز والملح ومسحوق الكاكاو واخلطيهم جيدًا.
اخفقي بياض البيض حتى يصل إلى قمم ناعمة ثم اطويها في خليط الكيك وصبها في مقلاة طولها 28 سم.
تُخبز في فرن محمّى على حرارة 180 درجة مئوية لمدة 40 دقيقة
لتحضير الصلصة:
نضيف كل المكونات معا ونخلط جيدا.
نتركه يغلي ثم نخفض النار ونتركه على نار هادئة لمدة 7-10 دقائق
