How To make Cream Cheese Pound Cake
3/4 lb Butter
3 c Sugar, granulated
1/2 lb Cream cheese
6 lg Eggs
3 c Cake flour, sifted
1/4 t Salt
1 1/2 t Almond extract
1 t Vanilla extract
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees F. Cream the butter, sugar and cheese together until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add salt, vanilla and almond extract. Beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, blending well after each. Stir in flour. Don't be vigorous; mix it just enough to incorporate the flour. Spoon into a greased tube pan. Bake in preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours. Cool for 15-20 minutes, then invert the cake onto a serving dish and remove the tube pan. If you wait too long, it will stick. NOTES: * A pound cake made with cream cheese -- I got this recipe from Annette Hall at Computer System Resources, in Georgia (annette@gacsr.UUCP). She posted it to net.cooks, claiming that it's the best pound cake you'll ever taste. She's right! Easy Moist Cream Cheese Pound Cake. Perfect Last Minute Dessert for Holidays. Ingredients Below. Hi Guys, today I'll show you How to Make Cream Cheese pound cake - moist, rich and buttery.
Ingredients
3 sticks unsalted butter
2 ¼ c sugar 16 oz 460g
8 oz/226g cream cheese
6 large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
3 cups all purpose flour or cake flour
¾ tsp table salt (or 1 tsp coarse salt)
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
**** You can use Salted Butter but omit salt in the recipe
Grease and flour 12 cup size bundt pan
Bake 325 F 162 C 70 mins - 90 mins

Welcome to my At Home cooking channel, I'm not a professional cook... but I like to cook at home and I wanted to share some of my recipes and cooking ideas with you all! Subscribe and see what - Tracey Makes
2 sticks of unsalted butter (room temp) *Use 2 1/2 sticks of butter, if not using Heavy Whipping Cream*
8 oz cream cheese (room temp) *I used Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1/2 cup shortening (room temp) * I used Crisco shortening bars
5 Eggs (room temp)
1 tsp Pure Vanilla ext
3 cups granulated sugar *I used C&H Pure Cane Sugar
3 cups Cake Flour (sifted)
1 tsp Baking Powder (sifted)
1/4 tsp Fine Sea salt (sifted)
**Optional**
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream - mix using hand-mixer (to fold into the batter)
The heavy cream helps moisten it and keeps the cake texture tender.. you’ll love it, give it a try!

Preheat oven to 320-325 F. In a large bowl cream together butter, cream cheese, and shortening.
Add eggs, one at a time, and mix on low after each egg, add sugar then add vanilla extract. Set aside.
In a large bowl sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. (give a quick whisk)
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing gently until the batter is fluffy. (do a little at a time)
** If you choose to make the whipped cream - fold in at this time **
Prepare a bundt pan with grease and flour.
Gently spoon the batter into the prepared pan. Place bundt pan on middle rack for 1hr and 15mins to 1hr and 25mins(depending on oven internal temp) check after 1hr and 15mins.
Once done cooking and toothpick or skewer comes out clean, place on a cooling rack in the bundt pan and
let cool for 7-10mins (Don't let cake stay in the hot pan too long it will cont to cook/get browner)
** Tip - if cake seems to be browning too fast before it's finished cooking tent a small piece of foil over the cake to finish cooking. **
** weigh or use spoon-in method when measuring the Cake Flour**
** A good tool to have is an internal oven thermometer for baking/cooking accuracy **

Easy CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE
Today I'm sharing with you a very simple pound cake recipe. I love making delicious meals from scratch and sharing the recipes with you. I sincerely hope you enjoy this cake. Remember, it doesn't need to be perfect, just delicious!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
3 sticks unsalted butter ~ room temperature
1 8oz pkg. cream cheese
3 cups morena sugar
6 eggs ~ room temperature
2 Tbs. vanilla extract
3 cups unbleached flour ~ sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Follow the video demonstration to combine ingredients.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean.
Simple Icing
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tbs. milk
mix together & drizzle over cake.
