65 gram bubuk kakao tanpa gula (gunakan bubuk kakao terbaik untuk rasa yang enak) 150 gram minyak sayur/minyak goreng (suhu ruang) . 3 butir telur ukuran sedang dan secukupnya air hangat untuk merendam. 300 gram gula (sesuaikan dengan selera, jika mengurangi jumlah gula mungkin shiny crust tidak muncul). 85 gram tepung terigu serbaguna. Bahan pelengkap 3/4 sdt garam. 1 sdt vanili.
