How To make Daytona Beach Chili
3 lb Ground beef
1 lb Ground pork
1 lb Hot italian sausage
- sliced 1/2" thick 4 tb Onion -- diced; "dried"
1 tb Granulated garlic
3 tb Olive oil
3 ts Tabasco
1 t Garlic powder
1 t Onion powder
1 tb Cumin
3 tb Chili powder
2 cn Stewed tomatoes
1 tb Brown sugar
1 t Salt
2 ts Worchestershire
1 tb Paprika
46 oz V-8
1 cn Mexican beer
1/4 c Cornmeal -- to thicken
Brown meat, onions, garlic in olive oil, drain. Return to pot and add all other ingredients. Bring to a boil. Turn heat down and simmer for about 2 1/2 hours. Mix the cornmeal and beef stock and add to pot. Cook this
the day before it is served. CROCK POT: Place all ingredients in crock pot. Add meat and cook on high 4 hours or on low for 8 hours. After 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low mix the cornmeal, if needed with the beef stock and add to pot. This is the first time I tried this chili. It was cooked in the crock pot because Sears tried to deliver a damaged stove on 02/17/94. Chili was cooked on 02/19/94. The Daytona 500 is on Sunday the 20th. We will have ribs cooked in the Nesco. Linda made her potato salad and we will have this chili. NOTE: The crock pot was to full, use less meat or less liquid. NOTE: Chili was no good! We mixed it with dry dog food and gave it to the dogs. The meat must be browned before it is put in the C/P.

250 gr BBQ Sauce
3 Esslöffel scharfe Chili Sauce
2 Teelöffel Knoblauchpulver
1 Esslöffel gehackte rote Paprikaschote
2 Esslöffel Sojasauce
500 gr Hähnchenflügel
8 Esslöffel Mehl
1 Esslöffel Paprika Pulver
1 Teelöffel Pfeffer
2 Teelöffel Salz
Paprika sehr fein hacken und mit den restlichen Zutaten in ein Topf geben und gut vermischen, danach für 5 Minuten kochen lassen.
In eine Schüßel das Mehl mit dem Paprika Pulver den Salz und dem Pfeffer vermischen.
Die Hähnchenflügel mit der Mehlmischung mehlieren.
Die Hähnchenflügel auf ein Backblech legen und für 30 Minuten bei 200 C° backen.
Hähnchenflügel aus dem Ofen nehmen und mit der Sauce vermischen, die Hähnchenflügel wieder auf das Backblech geben und für 7 - 8 Minuten bei 250 C° mit der Grill Funktion backen.
Italiano :
250 gr di salsa BBQ
3 cucchiai di salsa piccante al peperoncino
2 cucchiaini di aglio in polvere
1 cucchiaio di peperone rosso tritato
2 cucchiai di salsa di soia
500 gr di ali di pollo
8 cucchiai di farina
1 cucchiaio di paprika in polvere
1 cucchiaino di pepe
2 cucchiaini di sale
Tritate il peperone rosso molto finemente e metteteli in una ciotola con gli altri ingredienti e mescolate bene, dopo di che cuocete per 5 minuti.
Mescolare la farina con la paprika in polvere, il sale e il pepe in una ciotola.
Infarinare le ali di pollo con il composto di farina.
Adagiare le ali di pollo su una teglia e infornare per 30 minuti a 200 ° C.
Sfornare le ali di pollo e mescolarle con la salsa, rimettere le ali di pollo sulla teglia e infornare per 7 - 8 minuti a 250 ° C utilizzando la funzione grill.
