How To make Fettuccine w/Lentil Sauce
Fettuccine w/Lentil Sauce No. 1810 Yields 4 Servings
SAUCE: 15 oz Canned Tomatoes 2 Tbls Olive Oil 2 Cups Water
2 Onions, Chopped PASTA:
2 tsp Garlic, Minced 1/2 lb Green Fettuccine
1/2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground 1 tbls Butter
1 Cup Dried Red Lentils,
Rinsed
Start with the sauce: Heat the olive oil in a large pan. Saute the onion for 10 minutes. Add the garlic, cinnamon, lentils, tomatoes and water. Bring to a boil. Simmer until the lentils are tender (about 20 minutes). Cook the fettuccine according to package directions. Drain. Add the butter. Turn out into individual dinner plates. Top with the sauce. Serve.

RECIPE:
250 g lentils (1 cup+ 1/4 cup)
300 g pasta (10.5 oz)
2 celery stalks
1 carrot
1 potato
1 onion
120 g tomato purée (1/2 cup)
2 tsp + 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
black pepper
bay leaves
1.25 liters water (5 cups + 1/4 cup)
parmesan
2-3 tbsp olive oil

⭐️ Lentil pasta or pasta with lentils is a nutritious, tasty, and wholesome Italian recipe (pasta e lenticchie) where the lentils and the pasta are cooked together in one pot.
It's a perfect main dish for lunch or dinner, and the recipe is very easy. In addition, it's kids-friendly and contains all the macros to keep you healthy and satiated.
⭐️ Ingredients
2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 medium onion finely chopped
1 medium carrot finely chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1 sprig rosemary or thyme
2 bay leaves or sage
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup lentils green or brown, dry
10 cherry tomatoes halved
5 - 6 cups vegetable broth
2 cups ditalini pasta or other short pasta like penne, ditaloni, conchiglie, or rotini
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 handful parsley finely chopped

Lentil Pasta Sauce ||Authentic Plantbased Eats
Ingredients:
Roughly 1 cup dried lentils ( soak for a few hours)
1/2 onion
2 handfuls grape tomatoes
5 cloves garlic
2 stalks scallion
1/2 bell pepper
Roughly two cups tomato sauce
Roughly 2 tbsp tomato paste
Dried thyme
onion powder
garlic powder
Few dash ground cumin( very strong don’t add too much)
Spice Jamaica garlic herbs seasoning ( use all a dried herb blend or purpose seasoning of your choice)
Salt and pepper to taste
About a tsp maple syrup or sugar
Garnish with dried parsley
Pasta of your choice
Water

Red lentil Penne is a gluten free plant based pasta made using red lentils. It’s rich in natural protein and fiber.
Cook the Penne pasta as per instructions in package and keep it ready. I added more garlic for nice flavor. If you are using red onion and red bell peppers , it will give more color to the pasta.
The seasonings and tomato sauce quantity can be adjusted as per your taste. Cook the chicken with salt and pepper and shred it. I have used Mozzarella cheese here, but you can use Parmesan or Cheddar cheese also.
