DOUGH:
1/2 c BUTTER -- or MARGARINE,
-softened 1/2 c Sugar, GRANULATED
1/2 c Sugar, brOWN -- firmly packed
2 ea EGGS
1/2 ts VANILLA
1 c Flour, WHOLE-WHEAT
1 1/2 c Flour, ALL-PURPOSE
1/4 c WHEAT GERM, toasted
-unsweetened 1/4 ts SALT
1/4 ts BAKING SODA
BASIC FILLING:
x FRUIT (see below) 1/2 c WALNUTS or ALMONDS
1/3 c SUGAR
1/2 c :
WATER;
1 t LEMON PEEL grated
2 tb LEMON JUICE
:
FIG FILLING----- 1 x Recipe BASIC FILLING
-(above) 1 lb FIGS, dried -- (about 2 cups
-lightly packed) PRUNE FILLING:
1 x Recipe BASIC FILLING
-(above) 2 c PRUNES, pitted -- (moist-pack)
1/4 ts GROUND CINNAMON
FOR DOUGH: In a large bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In another bowl, stir together the whole wheat flour, all- purpose flour, wheat germ, salt and baking soda; gradually add to butter mixture, blending thoroughly. Cover dough tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate until easy to handle (at least 1 hour) or until the next day. Meanwhile, prepare filling of your choice; set aside.

How To Make Dessert FRUIT PIZZA Using Cookie Dough
INGREDIENTS:
1 package of sugar cookie dough
variety of fruit - rinse, drain and dry on towel
*Spread sugar cookie dough out evenly on greased 12 pizza pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool to room temp and then refrigerate.
CREAM CHEESE LAYER:
1 package room temperature cream cheese
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 container cool whip
*Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract together until creamy.
Fold in container of cool whip.
Spread evenly on top of cooled cookie dough crust.
GLAZE:
1/2 cup sugar
pinch of salt
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
*Mix above ingredients in saucepan. On medium heat bring to boil stirring
constantly. Once to boil, cook for 1-2 minutes and remove from heat.
Cool to room temp before brushing on top of pizza.

Here's how to make the viral baked oats from TikTok!
Ingredients
▸ ½ cup rolled or quick oats
▸ ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
▸ ½ ripe banana
▸ 1 egg (can omit)
▸ 1 Tablespoon maple syrup (I used monkfruit maple syrup)
▸ 1 Tablespoon peanut butter
▸ ¼ teaspoon baking powder
▸ Pinch of cinnamon
▸ Pinch of sea salt
▸ 2 Tablespoons chocolate chips (I used Lily’s)
optional toppings: more peanut butter for drizzling, extra maple syrup and a splash of milk
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Blend: Add all ingredients except for the chocolate chips into a blender and blend until fully combined. Stir in 1-2 Tablespoons of chocolate chips.
3. Bake: Pour batter into greased baking dish or ramekin. Top with extra chocolate chips and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
4. Serve: Let cool, top with an extra drizzle of peanut butter, maple syrup and a splash of milk and dive in.
