CRESCENT WRAPPED PEPPER JELLY BAKED BRIE
An appetizer to snack on any time of the year. It's next level!
Grocery list and recipe below.
Groceries: Wheel of brie cheese, 8 count roll of crescent rolls, spicy pepper jelly, 1 egg, honey, slivered almonds, granny smith/honey crisp apple(s), crackers of choice.
Recipe:
Flatten out two sheets of crescent rolls onto a cutting board.
Pat/mash the sheets down until the dotted lines form into one large square.
Slice the top and/or sides off of the wheel of brie.
Place the wheel on the center of one of of the squares of crescent rolls (open cut-side facing up).
Scoop 1-2 tbsp of spicy pepper jelly onto the open side of the brie.
Wrap the crescent roll up and around the sides of the brie folding onto the jelly.
Place the other square of crescent rolls on top of the wheel and wrap around the other sides to tightly seal the cheese and jelly. Place on a greased baking sheet (fold sides down).
Crack an egg in a small dish and beat with a fork to create an egg wash.
Lightly brush/cost the crescent roll with egg.
Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve warm with sliced apples and crackers of choice.

3 Party Starters with Bread
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
Flower Cheese Garlic Bread:
8 bread slices
50g butter
2 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp chopped capsicum
2 tbsp chopped red bell pepper
¼ cup grated cheese
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tsp red chili flakes
1 tsp oregano
4 Cherry tomatoes
Mint leaves to garnish
Method:
Make cuts from the corners to the inside as shown in the video. Fold in the corners to make a flower. Brush with garlic butter and bake at 180C for 10 minutes. Mix the chopped vegetables, cheese and seasonings. Place in the centre and bake for 3-4 minutes. Place a halved cherry tomato on top and garnish with mint leaf.
Bread Pita Pockets
Ingredients:
10 slices bread
100g paneer
1 Lettuce
½ Red Bell pepper, sliced
½ Capsicum, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
1 tbsp red chili sauce
Salt to taste
1 cup flour
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp oil
Mayonnaise
Method:
Heat oil in a pan. Add sliced vegetables and toss for a minute. Add salt, chilli sauce & paneer cubes. Toss for a minute and remove.
Roll the bread slices with a rolling pin. Keep 2 bread slices together and roll with a rolling pin. Cut into circles with a round cutter or katori.
Make a slurry of flour with ¾ cup water. Dip the circles in the slurry lightly and coat with bread crumbs.
Deep fry in medium hot oil till golden brown. Cool & cut into halves. Place a piece of lettuce, then some filling and drizzle mayonnaise.
Bread Samosa
Ingredients:
8 bread slices
3 Boiled potatoes
½ cup Peas
½ tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chili flakes
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp red chili powder
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp oil
Method:
Heat oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds and allow to splutter. Now add in the peas and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the boiled potato cubes and all the spices. Crush well. Remove from heat.
Press the bread with a rolling pin. Apply flour slurry on 1 side. Roll into a cone, pressing well to seal the edges. Make a cut on the pointed side. Fill the stuffing, insert a wooden spoon, wrap the remaining bread around the spoon and seal. Deep fry in medium hot oil till golden and serve.

Ingredients:
-Cooking oil 2-3 tbs
-Lehsan (Garlic) sliced 6 cloves
-Chilli garlic sauce 2 tbs
-Band gobhi (Cabbage) shredded 2 Cups
-Shimla mirch (Capsicum) julienne 1 Cup
-Gajar (Carrots) julienne 1 Cup
-Pyaz (Onion) sliced 1 large
-Hari mirch (Green chilli) crushed ½ tbs
-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed ½ tsp
-Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste
-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
-Sugar 1 tsp
-Soy sauce 3 tbs
-Hot sauce 2 tbs
-Hara pyaz (Spring onion) leaves ½ Cup
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 1 tbs
-Olper’s Cheddar cheese 4-5 tbs
-Olper’s Mozzarella cheese 4-5 tbs
-Spring roll sheets as required
-Flour slurry (mix 2 tbs flour in 3 tbs water)
-Cooking oil for frying
Directions:
-In a wok,add cooking oil,garlic & sauté until light golden.
-Add chilli garlic sauce & mix well.
-Add cabbage,capsicum,carrots,onion,green chilli & mix well.
-Add red chilli crushed,pink salt,black pepper crushed,sugar,soy sauce,hot sauce & mix well.
-Add green onion leaves,mix well & cook on high flame for a minute.
-Transfer the mixture to a strainer & press gently to release extra water.
-Let it cool.
-On a bowl,add vegetable mixture,all-purpose flour & mix well.
-Add cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese & mix well.
-On a spring roll sheet,add prepared vegetable & cheese filling,roll up & apply all-purpose flour slurry.
-Prepare the remaining rolls similarly (makes 16).
-Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 months in freezer.
-In a wok,heat cooking oil (140C) & fry spring rolls on medium flame until golden & crispy.
-Serve with tomato ketchup!

INGREDIENTS:
1 14-oz (396.9g) package frozen puff pastry
1 egg yolk, beaten
6 oz (169.5g) pepper jack cheese, cut into 30 uniform pieces, each about ¼ inch thick
1 Fresno chili, sliced into thin rings
1 serrano chili, sliced into thin rings
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoon (3.4g) fresh rosemary, finely chopped
Optional: 3 tablespoons (45g) sambal or savory chili jam to serve
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2) Remove the puff pastry from the freezer and gently roll out on a lightly floured surface. Score and cut into 30 pieces, each about 2-inches long, then arrange half on the baking sheet. Store the other half in the fridge until ready to bake.
3) Dock each piece of puff pastry 3-4 times along the length, then cover with another sheet tray–this will keep them from rising too much. Par-bake these for 10 minutes.
4) Remove the puff pastry from the oven, uncover and wash each piece with the beaten egg yolk, then top with a slice of pepper jack cheese and one slice of each of the peppers. Season with a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
5) Return the bites to the oven and continue baking uncovered until the pastry is golden and crispy and the cheese has melted, another 6-8 minutes. Once done, repeat with the remaining pastry from the fridge.
6) Garnish with the chopped rosemary and a small dish of the sambal and serve.
