How To make Haricot Beef Casserole
1 1/4 c Haricot beans
500 g Chuck steak
500 g Skirt steak
3 tb Oil
1 lg Onion
1 1/2 tb Flour
2 cl Garlic, crushed
1 1/2 c Beef stock
1 ts French mustard
425 g Tomatos (can)
1 pn Salt
1 pn Black pepper
2 Sprigs parsley
1 Bay leaf
1 Sprig thyme
1 Sprig marjoram
Put beans into a saucepan with enough hot water to cover well, bring to boiling point, boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, leave in the water for 1 hour. Cut the meat into large cubes and brown well all over in oil. Add the onion, cook gently until lightly tinted, stirring frequently. Sprinkle the flour over, add garlic and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add the drained tomatoes, salt, pepper, parsley, bay leaf, thyme and marjoram tied together. Transfer to oven proof dish, cover and cook in a moderately slow oven for 1 hour.

Today i'm going to show you how to make my Sausage & Bean Casserole. All cooked in one pot to save on the washing up and can be made ahead too!
This Big Batch Sausage and Bean One Pot is a great dish for a family gathering that can be made ahead of time.

Ingredients for the casserole:
2 tbsp olive oil
20-30 depending on how hungry your family are! good quality chipolata sausages (use gluten-free chipolatas if required)
1 large red onion peeled and roughly chopped
2 red peppers deseeded and roughly chopped
20 mini chorizo the bitesize ones, chopped in half
3 cloves garlic peeled and minced
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried thyme
120 ml (1/2 cup) red wine (optional)
2 chicken stock cubes crumbled (replace with 2 tsp vegetable bouillon for gluten free)
3 x 400g (14 oz) tins chopped tomatoes
1 x 400g (14oz) tin haricot beans, drained and rinsed
1 x 400g (14oz) tin cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

INGREDIENTS
450 g Haricots/ 1 lb Beans
820 g de Jarrets de boeuf / 1.80 lb Beef shank
1 Oignon/ 1 Onion
5- 6 goussed d’Ail / 5-6 cloves of Garlic
1 cuil. a soupe d’Ail en poudre/ 1 tbsp Garlic powder
1 cuil. a the de Muscade/ 1 tsp Nutmeg
1 cuil. a the de Poivre noir/ 1 tsp Black pepper
1 cuil. a the de Thym / 1 tsp Thyme
2-3 Tomates/ 2-3 Tomatoes
1 cuil. a soupe de Tomate concentree/ 1 tbsp Tomato paste
2 Ciboules/ 2 Green onions
1 cuil. a soupe de Poudre de chili/ 1 tbsp Chili powder
1 cuil. a soupe Cumin/ 1 tbsp Cumin

Here is the written recipe:
Ingredients For White Beans With Tomato Sauce And Meat:
2 cups white beans (soaked overnight)
4-5 tbsp olive oil
300-400gr. cubed beef
1 big onion
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tbsp pepper paste
1/2 tsp flour
salt, cayenne pepper
hot water
I want to note a couple of things that I forgot to mention in the video:
- The dish called Kuru Fasulye in Turkish :)
- These are white kidney beans but we have other types too. In Turkish, we call them horoz fasulye, Dermason, Şeker Fasulye
- Meat and red pepper paste are optional. You can make it vegan too.
- It is one of the most cooked and loved dishes in Turkey for both rich and poor.
