How To make Kids Popcorn Balls
1/2 c Molasses
1/2 c Corn syrup
1 1/2 Cubes butter (3/4 cup)
Salt 8 c Popped popcorn (measure
-after popping) From: San Diego Tribune, Saturday Aug. 3 Cook 1/2 cup molasses with corn syrup until thermometer reaches hard crack stage, about 270 degrees. Stir in butter and salt. Have the popcorn in a bowl. Slowly stir in the mixture with a wooden spoon. Coat all the popcorn. IMPORTANT! Butter your hands lightly and shape the popcorn into balls. Make them the size you want. Set them on wax paper and let them harden. Wrap the ones you don't eat with wax paper.

This is an easy recipe that kids can make themselves.
Popcorn Balls:
1 pkg sweet microwave popcorn
18 large marshmallows (120g)
1 tsp artificial flavoring of any kind (optional)
food coloring of any color (optional)
First, pop the popcorn according the directions on the package. Melt the marshmallows. Stir in flavoring. And food coloring. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the popcorn. With buttered hands, combine the popcorn and the marshmallows. Press them into balls.

Caramel Popcorn Balls Recipe: Fun Halloween Treat for Kids | Big Y Dig In & Do It
This recipe for caramel popcorn balls is sweet and salty. They are the best and easiest ooey-gooey popcorn balls you will ever make! It is perfect for fall gatherings, Halloween or anytime you want a sweet and salty snack. Get the full recipe at

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Food Club salted butter
3 cups Food Club sugar
1 cup Food Club light corn syrup
1 (14-ounce) can Food Club sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon Food Club pure vanilla extract
20 cups Food Club plain popcorn, popped and kernels removed
Food Club non-stick cooking spray
Caramel syrup
Directions:
1. Wash hands with soap and water.
2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, sugar and corn syrup; bring to a boil. Add condensed milk and bring mixture back to a boil; boil for 5 minutes.
3. Remove mixture from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let cool slightly.
4. Add popcorn to mixture and use a wooden spoon to gently stir and coat the kernels. Let cool slightly.
5. Lightly coat your hands with cooking. Working quickly and cautiously because mixture will be hot, shape coated popcorn mixture into medium-sized balls. Place on waxed paper. Drizzle with caramel syrup and serve.
