The answer is that this is not an ordinary Oatmeal Cookie, because it has a surprise ingredient, rice cereal. Rice cereal has a delightful crispy crunch which adds even more texture to this soft and chewy cookie with wonderfully crisp edges. Besides the rice cereal and rolled oats, chocolate also makes an appearance, and you can use semi sweet, bittersweet, milk or even white chocolate chips. Terrific with a glass of ice cold milk.

50gm Almonds for Almond butter
1/4 ghee
1/2 cup jaggery powder Or 1/3 Cup Brown sugar
1/2 Cup Wheat flour
1/2 cup oats
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp chopped almonds
2 tbsp milk

Orange Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies | Easy Cookie Recipe | MOLCS Easy Recipes
Orange Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies
1 C Dried Cranberries - soak in water for 15 minutes and dice finely
1 C Butter - softened
2/3 C Sugar
1 1/2 Egg Yolks
1 tsp Vanilla
2 1/3 C Flour
3/4 C Oats
1 1/2 tsp Orange Zest
1/2 C Sugar for rolling
Cream together butter & sugar, add egg yolks & vanilla until well combined. Gradually add
in flour until well combined. Fold in orange zest, oats & cranberries. Mix well.
Roll dough into 1 balls and roll in sugar.
Place onto cookie sheet. Flatten balls with a bottle covered with wax papaer. I used the lid of a
mason jar.
Bake @ 350 for 12 minutes

Cranberry Orange Oatmeal Cookies
These cookies are perfect for the holidays. The cranberry orange aroma when they're baking not only makes your house smell like it's holiday time, but the flavor is heavenly. Try them this season! They're a fabulous twist to standard oatmeal raisin cookies. Judi
Cranberry Orange Oatmeal Cookies
Makes about 4 Dozen
2 cups (10 oz) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup (8 oz) butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp orange extract
1 tsp dried orange zest
3 cups oats (quick or regular)
1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon in a medium bowl; set aside.
In a mixer bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Blend in eggs, vanilla and orange extracts, and orange zest. Blend in the flour mixture. Stir in the oats and sweetened dried cranberries. Drop by scoopfuls or heaping teaspoons onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for about 11 to 12 minutes, until slightly underdone (when allowing cookies to cool on the baking sheet).
Tips:
Important tip! Test oven timing and temperature with ONE cookie before baking an entire sheet of them! Oven temperatures and baking times will vary, so it’s better to be sure and only waste one cookie in the process!
Use a scoop to portion cookie dough. It’s faster than using 2 teaspoons and makes cookies more uniform in size and shape, allowing them to cook within the same time frame.
When allowing cookies to cool on the baking sheet, remember that they will continue to cook a little for 2 minutes because of the heat of the pan. Therefore, some cookies can be slightly under baked when cooling them on the pan. This will prevent them from being too cooked after they’ve cooled down.
