Hi y'all, welcome back to MARIA'S KITCHEN Presents! Today we are making wonderful PERSIMMON COOKIES!! This is a fantastic recipe shared with me by some friends. They will be great to devour anytime! Enjoy :)They are very moist and flavorful, make some and SHARE with someone today.????

Matthew 25:40, 1 Timothy 5:3
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup persimmon PULP
2 cups SIFTED flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla (optional)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 cup raisins
1cup chopped nuts
Directions:
Preheat oven 350.
Cream butter and then add sugar continue to cream with a mixer. (Mix egg and persimmon pulp together in a magic bullet just till blended a few seconds.)optional!! You can add egg and then mashed persimmon pulp if you don’t have a magic bullet.
Add this mixture into the mixer with the butter and sugar and blend well for about 40 seconds. Sift these remaining ingredients flour, soda, salt add into mixture, mix a little then add spices mix a few seconds, then lastly add nuts and raisins. Don't overmix. Grease a cookie sheet and spoon by teaspoonfuls. Bake 12-15 minutes check at 12 minutes if lightly browned around edges they’re good if u want to check with a toothpick you can. Enjoy!! These are one of my favorite cookies ❤️ Makes about 4 -5 dozen depending on how big you make them.

Ingredients
3 - 4 ripe persimmons
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar (more for sweeter cookies)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 large egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
8 Tbsp or a half cup of softened butter
1 cup of Pecans (or nut of choice)
Turbinado sugar (for the topping)
Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes. I sprinkled powdered sugar on top.
