How To make Pocket Spreads
-VIVIAN THIELE NRHF19C The following recipes are additional spreads that can be used in place of butter on the outside of bread/dough when making pockets. Mayo Spread: 1/4 cup real Mayonnaise; 1/4 tsp. onion powder; 1/4 tsp. celery salt. Stir to combine. Enough for 8 slices of bread. Mayo spread will enhance the flavor of most foods except sweets. Especially good on sandwiches with eggs, cheese, ham and seafood or vegetable pockets. Curried Mayonnaise: 1/4 cup mayonnaise; 1 tsp. mild Indian curry powder. Stir to combine - enough for 8 slices of bread. Curry is a nice flavor accompaniment with beef, chicken, lamb, shrimp and vegetables. Maple butter: 1/4 soft butter or margarine; 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring. Stir to combine. Enough for 8 slices. Use maple butter for pockets. Use with pork, ham or sweets. Vanilla butter: 1/4 soft butter or margarine; 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Stir to combine - enough for 8 slices of bread. Vanilla butter enhances flavor and has an enticing aroma while cooking. Almond Butter: 1/4 soft butter or margarine; 1/4 tsp almond extract. Stir to combine - enough for 8 slices bread. Use with fruit pie filling or other sweets. Herbed butter: 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine; 1/4 tsp herbs (combine basil, thyme, rosemary and tarragon). Stir to combine. Spread on one side of 8 bread slices or other bread products used for pockets. This taste especially good with meats, cheese and vegetables. Garlic butter: 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine; 1 clove garlic, crushed. Stir to combine. Enough for 8 bread slices. Use with any eat or vegetable filling. Honey butter: 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine; 1 tblsp. honey. Stir to combine. This is enough to spread 8 slices of bread. Because the honey promotes browning, use this on pockets which only have to brown and heat through. If used on egg sandwiches,etc... the bread may over brown before the egg finishes cooking. Lemon butter: 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine; finely grated rind of 1 lemon (about 1/2tsp.). Stir to combine. This is enough to spread 8 slices of bread. The fresh lemon brings out the flavor of fruit filling and seafood fillings.

Lightly toast pita pocket. Spread hummus on both sides of pita. Add red bell pepper, avocado, baby spinach, crushed red pepper and black pepper.

How to make Pizza Pockets with pepperoni:
Making the Pizza Dough:
- In a bowl add two eggs
- Followed by 3/4 cup of milk
- And 1 tsp of minced garlic
- Now whisk together the eggs, milk, and garlic
- In a separate bowl, add 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- Also, add 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
- As well as 1 tsp of salt
- And 1 1/2 tbsp of baking powder
- As well as 1 tsp of Italian Seasoning
- Mix everything together
- Then add 1/2 cup of cubed cold salted butter
- Now mix the contents of both bowl together
- Dump the dough ball onto a large floured countertop
- Knead the dough ten times, turning it over onto itself and turning 90 degrees
- Add additional flour as necessary to keep it from sticking
- Using a rolling pin, roll out dough to 1/2 inch thickness
- Take a 3-inch biscuit cutter and cut out all the dough circles
Assembling the Pepperoni Pizza Pockets:
- On your dough circles, spread on some pizza sauce
- Now add some sausage and pepperoni slices
- Followed by some shredded mozzarella cheese
- Then fold the pizza pocket onto itself
- Now use a fork around the edge to seal it
- Bake in the oven at 450f for 13-15 minutes
- Let cool and your pepperoni pizza pockets and serve with warmed pizza sauce for dipping

1. Take a bowl. Add boiled corn, green capsicum, chopped onions, yellow capsicum, red capsicum, mozzarella cheese, chopped basil, salt, oregano, chilli flakes, black pepper, and Foodcoast Exotic Sandwich Spread. Mix well and keep aside.
2. Take a plate. Pour water in the plate and dip all the papads one by one in the water to make them soft.
3. Take bowl of corn flour. Add salt and water. Stir well and make a coating paste.
4. Take soft papad. Put the prepared ingredients on it. Fold well with the help of coating paste as shown in the video.
5. Take a pan. Add oil and let it heat. When the oil is hot, deep fry the prepared papads till they become light golden.
6. Now enjoy your Crispy Papad Pocket recipe is ready to be served.

FLIPANY Recipes: Pizza Pita Pocket
Ingredients:
- Whole Wheat Pita
- Low-Fat Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Spinach, Chopped
- Bell Peppers, Diced
- No-Sodium Added Pizza Sauce or Tomato Sauce
Directions:
- Cut pita pocket in half and gently open to create a pocket.
- Spread the pizza or tomato sauce inside the pita pocket.
- Add the bell peppers, spinach, and sprinkle with cheese.
- Place on a skillet and cook until cheese has melted and both sides are brown and toasty. (Can also cook on a baking tray in an oven on 350 degrees until golden brown and the cheese has melted).
