How To make Red Kidney Beans (Rajma)
2 c Red kidney bean
3 qt Water
1 ts Turmeric
1 tb Salt
1/4 c Oil
1 c Chopped onion
1 Inch ginger chopped
1 ts Garam Masala
3 Tomatoes chopped
Coriander leaves for Garnish 1. Wash beans and boil for 2 - 3 hours or 1/2 hour in a pressure cooker.
2. In the meantime make masala of onions, garlic, ginger and tomato as in
chicken curry. 3. Add to the beans and cook again till most of the liquid dries up and the
beans are soft and thoroughly cooked. 4. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Rajma Recipe for beginners |Rajma Cooked Homestyle
My quick and easy Rajma Recipe for Roz ka Khana... this rajma recipe with rajma masala is perfect for young people and beginners. Students, bachelors and new entrants to the kitchen will find it convinient.
My son too learnt this from me :)
This recipe can be made with tinned or canned beans of any kind too. Team it up with steamed rice and dahi or yogurt and you have a meal.
Recipe:
1. Temper 2 tbsp of oil with 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds (jeera).
2. Add in finely chopped 2 large onions. Add a pinch of salt.
3. Cook till the onions are lightly coloured.
4. Lower the heat and add in 1/2 tsp of red chili powder, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder (haldi), 2 tsp of rajma masala, 1 1/2 tsp of coriander powder(dhaniya). Mix well. Pour in 1 1/2 cups of tomato paste.
5. Cook till the oil separates.
6. Add in 1 tsp of ginger paste and 1 tsp of garlic paste. Cook till the raw smell goes away.
7. Add in 2 cups of boiled rajma. Cook for a minute then, add in the rajma water from the cooker. Bring to a boil.
8. Season with salt. Add in chopped coriander, 2 tsp of ghee and 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder. Mix well and turn off the heat.
9. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with rice and yogurt. Enjoy!

Rajma or red kidney beans salad is an healthy and tasty salad recipe which has lot of health benefits in it . Rajma is very rich in fibre which helps in lowering cholesterol levels. Rajma salad is an iron - rich option that will enhance our haemoglobin levels .
Ingredients and process :-
Overnight soaked and boiled Rajma - pressure cook for 3-5 whistles
Now add in some vegetables like some chopped ???? onions , chopped ????tomatoes , chopped green chillies , chopped coriander ???? leaves and squeeze some lemon ???? juice .
Add little salt , chat masala and little chilli powder and the tasty Rajma salad is ready ..
Add in some more veggies like capsicum ???? or lettuce ????

These Rajma tikkis are packed with protein and quite healthy yet delicious.
Ingredients
✨1 cup Rajma (Large Kidney Beans) , soaked and pressure cooked
✨2 Potato (Aloo) , boiled and smashed
✨1 tspn Red Chilli powder
✨1/2 tspn Garam masala powder
✨1/2 tspn dhaniya Powder
✨1/2 tspn Amchur Powder
✨ Chopped onion
✨ Chopped green chillies
✨ Chopped coriander leaves
✨ Salt to taste
✨Oil , as required
Recipe:
✨To begin with Rajma tikki, firstly take the boiled kidney beans/rajma and potatoes in a mixing bowl. ✨Add chopped onions, chopped green chillies and chopped green coriander.
✨Add all the spices powder and mix everything together
✨ Once it is done, make medium sized patties out of this mixture.
✨ Shallow fry them on a pan with very little oil.
