Tortilla pizza: a quick and delicious recipe!
Tortillas and pizza together, you’ll love this combination of flavors!
INGREDIENTS flour tortillas tomato sauce oregano mozzarella cheese olive oil Parmesan cheese basil
DIRECTIONS 1. Place a flour tortilla in a pan. Spread the tomato sauce over it. 2. Sprinkle with salt, oregano, add the mozzarella cheese and drizzle with olive oil. 3. Let it cook for 5 minutes with a lid, or until the mozzarella melts. 4. Top with some basil and serve.

Folks I used one 8 ounce can of crescent rolls and one pound of ground beef. After that, it’s a taco, y’all can build this thing up however you want but I’ll list the steps now I made ours tonight.
Put a 1/4 of an onion and one pound of ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat and browned the meat. Then added the equivalence of one packet of taco seasoning and finished cooking the ground beef as directed by a packet of taco seasoning. Then rolled one 8 ounce can of crescent rolls out flat on a baking sheet and cooked them at 375 degrees. Once they were pulled from the oven, I smeared one can of refried beans over the crust (crescent rolls), followed by enchilada sauce (no measurement), ground beef mixture, sour cream, shredded cheese ( your choice and no measurement), sliced jalapeños and sliced green onions for garnishing. Then put back in the oven at 375 degrees for an additional four minutes. Just long enough for the cheese to melt. Then dig in and enjoy.

Here is a great option for pizza night! Taco pizza uses up some things you may have in your pantry, fridge and freezer and makes a new and different pizza!
When you pair this with my corn meal pizza crust you really have a treat! Top with whatever you enjoy on your pizza. I have used lettuce, tomato and green onion, but you could easily throw on some olive, chiles or jalapenos.

Taco Pizza
Ingredients:
Pre-made or homemade pizza crust
1 lb of ground beef
2 tablespoons of taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1/2 diced onion
1 cup of refried beans
Taco sauce
1 cup of shredded cheese
Toppings... Shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, green onions, sour cream, cilantro, salsa and jalapenos.
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 450°.
Cook the ground beef. Add a half of a diced onion to the ground beef. Drain and add 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning and 1/2 a cup of water.
On the pizza crust add refried beans, taco sauce and the ground beef mixture. Sprinkle about 3/4 a cup of cheese on top and bake for about 12 minutes.
Once it's done baking it's time to add the taco toppings you prefer.
