Julia Cooks Shepherd's Pie
Hello, back when it was a little cooler at the start of quarantine I videoed the making of this dish. Originally it was made with beef meat I suppose, over the years we gave up beef on a regular basis replacing it with ground turkey (easier to digest).
If you try it with a cornbread topping, you really should use a tomato base and not a mushroom base. Of course, you will want to change out your seasonings to enhance the tomato base as well. If you like, I will revisit this recipe from that point next time around. Let me know down in the comments if you have tried it or if you have made the pie how you make it. Also if you would like to see it made with a cornbread topping. Thanks for watching, subscribe if you haven't already...like, comment and share any of the videos from AYL.
Cottage Pie ( with spices!)
This is another Anglo Indian dish. Europeans went to India and needed to spice up the food to keep them from spoiling so soon in the heat. I will do a stuffed pepper recipe as well which is very close to this.
