Smoothies are a great way to get nutrition in your body in a delicious way. This smoothie doesn't contain extra sugar if you hadn't noticed. So make sure to use a nice ripe banana for sweetness.
I like adding the raw cashews, which I bought at Trader Joe's, for some richness, protein and thickness. The chia seeds also add a couple of grams of protein per tablespoon and also help thicken up your smoothie to a milkshake consistency.
Ingredients:
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup of blueberries or a bit more
1 thumbnail of fresh ginger, peeled
1/3 cup raw cashews
1 Tbsp. chia seeds
good dash of cinnamon (I love cinnamon!)
4 ice cubes
1 cup of liquid I used water, or milk, almond milk, coconut milk or water, etc.
Place all ingredients into a blender (I recommend the vitamix) and blend away for 45 to 60 seconds for a rich, creamy and smooth smoothie. It's so thick you could call this a shake.

I was raised a little different than most, I grew up on a dairy farm. I was raised drinking raw milk from our cows and eating seasonal fruits and veggies that we raised and grew. We ate eggs that our chickens' laid, and meat from our dairy raised cows and pigs. We were taught the importance of healthy seasonal eating with fresh ingredients.
I began cooking for our family at the earliest of ages. Cooking allowed me to fuel my creativity in the kitchen. I loved taking all sorts of simple fresh ingredients and seeing what I could create with them. My unique experiences with farm life has taught me how to best enjoy foods in the most delicious and healthiest way possible.

Easy Keto Cinnamon Raspberry Smoothie [Packed with Nutrition]
Raspberries and cinnamon might seem like an odd combination, but combine them in a smoothie, and they taste amazing! One of the best things about smoothies is how convenient they are. A good smoothie works well for a great breakfast or snack, and they’re well-loved by kids and adults.
The almond milk, heavy cream, and almond butter make this smoothie extra creamy, while the frozen raspberries add a little zesty kick for a refreshing aftertaste. Add a handful of spinach, and you’ve got yourself a nutritious, delicious smoothie ready to be enjoyed anytime, anywhere.
While all berries, like raspberries, are low in sugar, the tart and subtle sweetness make them a popular fruit choice for the keto diet. Raspberries are also low in calories, but this doesn’t take away from their fantastic health benefits! They’re high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, with tons of antioxidants that help fight anti-aging.
The raspberries and spinach add a good punch of fiber which can help keep your digestive system regular, promote a healthy digestive tract, and feed your good gut bacteria to improve your mood and metabolism!
This smoothie recipe calls for the use of both almond milk and almond butter. Almonds are packed full of healthy fats, protein, and fiber alongside essential vitamins and minerals like vitamin E and magnesium. What a powerhouse! Because of their nutrient-packed profile, almonds are incredibly satiating (highly satisfying, allowing you to feel fuller, faster!). They are great to incorporate into your diet if weight loss is your goal.
If almond milk or almond butter is not a taste you enjoy, feel free to substitute them with a milk alternative like oat or plain milk. Other types of nut butters would work, too, like peanut or cashew. Keep in mind that the nutritional profile will slightly change with every substitution, so if you’re counting your macros, keep that in mind!
Bonus: The subtle spiced taste of cinnamon is not only delicious but cinnamon is also packed full of antioxidants and has potent anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects!
