How To make Spicy Maple Fruit Kabobs
1 tb Brown sugar
2 tb Maple syrup
1/4 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 ts Peychaud or other cocktail
-bitters 1 ds Of ground red pepper
2 Kiwifruit, peeled and
-quartered 8 (1 inch) slices banana
-(about 2 small) 8 (1 inch) cubes seeded
-watermelon 8 (1 inch) chunks fresh
-pineapple Vegetable cooking spray Spicy Maple Fruit Kabobs Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well and set aside. Thread 2 kiwifriut quarters, 2 banana slices, 2 watermelon cubes, and 2 pineapple chunks alternately onto each of 4 (8 inch) skewers. Brush kabobs with syrup mixture, reserving any remaining mixture. Coat grill with vegetable cooking spray; place on grill over medium-hot coals. Place kabobs on rack, and cook 3 minutes on each side. Remove from grill; drizzle remaining syrup mixture over kabobs. Claret F1 (Purple Broccoli) sown in June and transplanted it in July between a crop of lettuce. It withstands temperatures to about -10 C so it wouldn’t work where winters are very cold.
SKEWERS INGREDIENTS:
- 1 x purple broccoli
- 1 x Red Bell Pepper
- 1 x Oyster mushrooms cluster
SAUCE:
- 2 x Tsp soy sauce
- 1 x Garlic Clove
- 1 x lump of Ginger
- 1 x Tsp miso paste
- 1 x Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 x Tbsp sesame oil
SMOOTHIE:
- 2-3 x handful Broccoli leaves and stems
- 2-3 x Ripe Kiwi
- 2 x cups apple juice
NOTES:
Add bananas to your smoothie for a better texture, soak the skewers 10 mins in water before use!
