Driftwood // Cold Process Soap Making
After yet another small hiatus, I am back with another video! These bars are actually available to purchase online now, that's how long ago this video was shot. (oops) I owe much of that time to learning how to navigate my way through Premiere Pro. (thanks Alex!!) It's been both a blessing and a curse, just because I don't necessarily need all the bells and whistles just yet. However, I'd be lying if I said I didn't like all the new things I'm able to do that I wasn't on iMovie. So stay tuned for all that! :) If you are interested in purchasing one of these bars, you can click here -- or the link below.
♡ You can support me and the channel by buying some soap! ♡
Base oils include: coconut oil, olive oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, apricot kernel oil, and castor oil. (I cut out the portion that involves weighing out the lye and oils as it is not necessarily what I want the focus to be, which is more on the design process itself!)

Hello everyone! I'm Holly! In this video, I'm making heart-shaped bath fizzies for our upcoming release and I'm sharing my favorite recipe too!
Our next release is scheduled for Thursday, March 18th! It's a flurry of activity here getting everything ready! We had hoped to have a release this week but so many different things converged at once this week. (Our son's birthday - we knew that one was coming ????, medical issues with our dog - waiting on biopsy results, extra tax work needing done ASAP, and we're also getting a tornado shelter this week! I'm so excited!)

Missouri River Soap is not responsible for any outcome that results from testing this recipe. Follow all safety precautions and heed all warnings for the production and use of bath bombs/bath fizzies.
✨ INGREDIENT INFO:
*SLSa - Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate is a sulfate free surfactant. It is derived from coconut and palm and is gentle and mild. It is Eco Certified. The coarse powder does not need to be ground but does have a larger particle size that helps to keep the powder less airborne than the fine. I only buy from Two Wild Hares as this is my preferred SLSa.
*Polysorbate 80 is an emulsifier. This helps to incorporate the oils and colors into the bath water without floating on the surface. This also helps to prevent colors from leaving a ring on the tub...and you!
*Pay attention the to IFRA usage rates for the fragrance you choose.
*Citric Acid Powder - I look for Anhydrous Fine
B-3 BOMBER BATH BOMB PRESS - This press is amazing! In full disclosure, I was gifted this machine back in January of 2019. The exchange was to show the machine and how it works and to just enjoy it. That's it! I fulfilled all obligations a while ago! However, I love this machine and I love to support other small businesses. I am grateful for the opportunity and I feel this product is superbly made. Please note that we purchased the air compressor, hoses, dials, additional molds, etc., on our own. Head over to bathbombmachine.com to learn more.
