No bake Nilla Wafer crust is perfect for pies, tarts, and cheesecakes and an easy go to for hot summer days when you do not want to turn the oven on. Nilla Wafers make a great option to make a no bake crust since they are a light crisp cookie with a subtle vanilla flavor. You can use this no bake Vanilla Wafer crust immediately or refrigerate or freeze to help it hold it shape. If you would like to use this no bake Nilla Wafer crust at a later date, shape the crust in the pan or baking pan being used and freeze for up to 3 months.
Ingredients
8 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 3/4 cups crushed Vanilla Wafers (about 60 cookies)

CHERRY PIE FILLING (OR STRAWBERRY PIE FILLING)
MINI FOIL BAKE CUPS
Whip cream cheese, eggs, sugar, vanilla at high
speed until smooth. Place vanilla wafers
in baking cups, fill each cup with mixture. All
filling should fit in 12 muffin cups. Bake at 350
degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool, top with pie
filling.
Option: Use Oreo Thin Cookies on the Bottom
and Whipping cream for the topping with a
mini-Oreo cookie.

Betty's Crisp Vanilla Wafer Pie Crust
Betty demonstrates how to make a Vanilla Wafer Pie Crust. This is a crust for chilled pies that is made of crushed vanilla wafers and butter and then baked in the oven.
Crisp Vanilla Wafer Pie Crust
1 ¼ cups vanilla wafer crumbs (Place an appropriate amount of vanilla wafers in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag and crush with a rolling pin until fine.)
6 tablespoons butter, melted
Use a fork to mix vanilla wafer crumbs and melted butter in a 9-inch pie plate. Press evenly on bottom and sides of pie plate. Bake at 375 degrees (F) for 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on a cooling rack until completely cool before filling. This crust is great for a chilled pie, such as a cream pie (chocolate, vanilla, butterscotch, etc.), fresh fruit (strawberry, blueberry, etc.), or specialty pie (peanut butter, banoffee, banana cream, etc.).
