How To make Apple Ring Fritters
1 C. sifted flour
1 1/2 Tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 Tsp. salt
3/4 C. milk
1 egg
4 Large apples
Sift dry ingredients. Add milk and egg. Beat well. Peel and core apples and slice in rings about 1/2-inch thick. Dip rings in batter and drop into skillet containing 1/2-inch of hot melted shortening. Fry until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle fritters. Makes 16 to 20.

2 apples (medium sized, such as Gala) 中等大小的Gala苹果2个
2 tbsp cane sugar, 蔗糖 两大勺
1 tbsp rum, 兰姆酒 1大勺
1 tbsp lemon juice, 柠檬汁 1 大勺
Apple Batter 面糊
1 cup all purpose flour , 中筋面粉 1杯
1/3 tsp baking powder, 泡打粉 1/3 茶勺
1/2 tsp cinnamon,肉桂粉 半茶勺
pinch of salt, 一点点盐 (我这次做忘放了)
1/2 cup of wheat beer (recommend German style hefeweizen)*

注意事项:
1.苹果片倒入柠檬汁,朗姆酒和糖以后要充分混合,让苹果片两面都浸入拌料汁。用保鲜袋更好。
2.和面糊要按照顺序来,往干料里倒入啤酒,然后是蛋黄液,最后是打发后的蛋白。
3.倒入打发蛋白后不要过度搅拌。轻轻拌匀就像做蛋糕一样的手法。
4.面糊不能太稀,不然挂不上浆水。一定要保证两面都有面糊炸出来才漂亮。
5.油锅里的油可以多一些,中火炸制,两面金黄即可。

Apple Fritter Rings Ingredients:
Apples (I used Granny Smith, but you can use whatever kind you want)
1/2 cup of flour
1 tsp of sugar (add another teaspoon or two if you want it more sweet)
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of sprite or 7up or even ginger ale.
Powdered sugar for topping (or try peanut butter, jam, etc)
Canola oil or vegetable for Frying (fill up your pot about 1/3 of the way full)
