SAUSAGE GRAVY BISCUIT RING - Hearty and Filling Breakfast
This sausage gravy biscuit ring is a hearty stick-to-your-ribs breakfast that's easy to prepare. Golden brown flaky grand size biscuits rolled into balls and placed around a skillet with sausage gravy in the middle. Brushed with melted butter and served in one skillet.
Shopping List: Servings: 10-12 single biscuits halves
5-6 biscuit grands cut in half for an 8 skillet
1 cup ground pork breakfast sausage
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Melted butter
Parsley for garnish
Directions:
Brown the sausage then sprinkle with the flour. Stir about 2 minutes to get rid of the raw flour flavor. Gradually add the milk while constantly whisking. Simmer until thickened, seasoning with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Cut the biscuits in half then roll into balls. Place around the edge of an oven-safe skillet.
Pour the gravy in the middle of the skillet.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown.
When done, brush the tops with the melted butter and garnish with parsley.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
