Grilled Boneless Pork Chops
Boneless pork chops are what we call a grilling home run: easy, fast and delicious. When cooked properly, these only require around ten minutes of grill time. Prepare them as simple or as seasoned as your taste buds prefer. When cooked perfectly pink to 145ºF, expect tender, juicy meat every single time.
BONELESS PORK CHOPS
1. For the Boneless New York Pork Chops: Season both sides of chops with salt and pepper; brush lightly with oil.
2. Prep and preheat grill for direct and indirect cooking; setting direct side to medium-high heat and indirect side off.
3. Grill chops over direct heat, covered, 2 minutes per side to create grill marks.
4. Transfer chops to indirect heat, close grill and cook for 5-6 minutes or until chops reach an internal temperature of 145ºF.
5. Remove chops from grill, set on cutting board and let rest for 3 minutes.
6. To serve: Slice chops on a bias.
Note: This recipe is for gas grilling. A charcoal grill may also be used. If using a marinade or brine, do so prior to step one. If you want to add additional seasonings or spices, apply with salt and pepper in step one.
