Happy Diwali Everyone. As this is festive week so you will see cookies at every corner. Do me a favor and read the ingredients on the boxes. I bet you are gonna find a long list of preservatives and other ingredients rather than main ingredients. It is highly recommended to bake your own cookies at home instead of buying from market. This is for your and your loved ones health.
These are whole wheat cookies which are super scrumptious and healthy as they are homemade. Below are the tips for the finest cookies 1. Mix jaggery and ghee properly and it final mixture should be lump free. You can replace jaggery with same amount of coconut sugar if you want. 2. Always add milk in batches and if you feel you need less milk than mentioned in the video, use less as the use of milk can depend on the wheat flour brand. 3. The final dough should be soft. 4. It is mandatory to keep dough in fridge for 30 min atleast. It helps to have a good textured cookies. 5. Pre-heat oven for 15 min atleast at 360F before you start baking cookies.
