2 oz Golden syrup 1/4 c Butter 1/2 c Flour 2 oz Caster sugar 1/2 ts Brandy 1/2 ts Ground ginger Set oven to 450F or Mark 8. Grease baking sheets. Melt the butter, syrup and sugar together in a saucepan over a very gentle heat. Stir in the flour, ground ginger and the brandy. Beat together for about 5 minutes. Drop small teaspoonsful on to the baking sheet, spaced well apart. Bake for 5 minutes until pale golden brown in colour. Roll immediately, while still hot, around the greased handle of a large wooden spoon. Set aside to cool. RECIPE: INGREDIENTS: 1 pound box of powdered sugar, one stick of melted butter, 1/2 cup of bourbon, Brandy, or whiskey, 1 cup of chopped pecans, 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips, 6 ounces of butter scotch chips, 1 ounce of paraffin( IF DESIRED, I don’t use, but it may be preferred , shinier and easier to work with)
DIRECTIONS: Soak the nuts in bourbon or whiskey or brandy 24 hours. Combine all ingredients together except for the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Refrigerate until batter is firm. Remove from refrigerator, roll into 1 inch balls. Play both chips in double boiler and melt along with 1 oz. of paraffin in desired. Then dip balls in chocolate mixture after melted. Place on wax paper and place a half a pecan over the bourbon hall firmly. Refrigerate till set, or place in freezer about 10 minutes. Makes 3 dozen. ???? ( these r the most delicious of all the Bourbon /brandy balls!!!

This was the most caramelly adventure of all time. Very welcomed flavor!
These are a no-bake recipe that you can mix up in a few minutes then chill to set before rolling the balls. They do pack a wallop and have a nice taste and texture.
