How To make Cheesecake Pecan Pie
8 oz Cream cheese
softened
1 Egg
1/3 c Sugar
1 t Vanilla
1 Pie shell :
unbaked 9 inch
1 1/2 c Pecan halves
2 Eggs -- slightly beaten
1/4 c Sugar
2/3 c Corn syrup-light
1/2 ts Vanilla
Combine cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Spread over bottom of pie shell. Arrange pecans on the cream cheese mixture. Mix remaining eggs, sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla, stirring well. Carefully pour over the pecans. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Pecan Pie Topping:
1 cup dark brown sugar
¼ cup cornstarch
½ teaspoon salt
4 egg yolks
⅔ cup karo syrup
½ cup warm cream
4 tablespoons butter, cold
2 cups roasted pecans

In my opinion this pie is better than derby pie, a favorite around here at Derby time for Derby parties . I hope you enjoy this delicious, rich pie.
Ingredients
1 unbaked deep dish pie crust
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
Beat together cream cheese, sugar 1 egg, vanilla and salt
Spread in the bottom of pie shell
Spread the nuts over the cream cheese mixture
Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the nuts and cheese mixture
Bake 425 for 10 minutes reduce to 375 for 25-30 minutes..
