1 Lg Onion
Chopped
1 Bunch Celery :
Chopped
1 Lb Mushrooms Chopped
2 Bunches Broccoli :
Chopped And Cooked
1 Jar Velveeta Cheese
1 Jar Cheese Whiz
1 Can Cream Of Mushroom Soup
1 Can Cream Of Chicken Soup
1/4 Cup Crisco Oil With Roasted Garlic
1 Stick Butter Or Margarine Melted
1 Box Minute Rice :
Cooked
1 Chicken Cut Up
Garlic Sat :
Optional
**This recipe requires a very large pot such as a Dutch oven. Cook the broccoli and rice separately. Set aside. In a large pot, melt the butter and add the oil, pepper,and garlic salt. Saute onions, mushrooms and celery till tender, but not brown. Mix soups together and add to the the onion/celery/mushroom mixture. Add 1/2 can of milk. Add cheese and mix well. Add rice and broccoli and mix well. Layter cut chicken on top. Cover; cook @ 350

Day 6 of Countdown to Christmas is another comfort food! Cheesy Broccoli Chicken and Rice Casserole! This dish is so creamy, cheesy, and comforting, its everything you need on a cold winter day!
INGREDIENTS:
2 chicken breasts, cubed and cooked
2 heads of broccoli, chopped (or you can use a 16oz bag of frozen broccoli, thawed)
2 cups of cooked rice
1 can of cream of chicken soup
3/4 cups of half and half or milk
8oz of Gouda, shredded
8oz of sharp cheddar, shredded
1 cup of mayonnaise
1 tsp of oregano
2 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of onion powder
2 tsp of salt
2 tsp of black pepper
Cayenne Pepper, optional
RECIPE NOTES:
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted bubbly around the edges.
- If using fresh broccoli, sauté or steam for 2-3 minutes before mixing in casserole.
- Feel free to use whatever cheese combination you like! I personally enjoy cheeses that are sharp and have a nice bite to them, especially when paired with broccoli.
- I recommend using block cheese and shredding it yourself rather than pre-shredded cheese, simply because block cheese melts better.
- Top with red pepper flakes like I did for an extra kick!

30 minute cheesy chicken rice and broccoli is so easy to put together and incredibly delicious. As with many of our recipes, most of the ingredients you will have right in your pantry. Another fantastic thing about the recipe is that it's all done in one pan. What more can you ask for.
Once again, this recipe stemmed from a peek in the fridge and an overzealous mind. In other words, I came home one night, took a look at what I had in the fridge, and threw it together. The outcome was out of this world.
Believe me, it is a must try for your family and friends.

Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Rice | One pan meal
Chicken thighs
1 cup or fresh broccoli
1.5 cups of long grain white rice
1 can of cream of chicken
2.5 cups of chicken broth
1 tbsp salted butter
1 tsp roasted chicken bouillon base
Seasoning for the chicken:
1/4 cup green seasoning (see my video)
1.5 tbsp of complete seasoning (I used QueenMaries “I put that on everything”
1 tsp poultry seasoning (I used browngirlspice)
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
Seasoning for the rice:
1 tsp tumeric powder
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup mild cheddar
1/2 cup sharp cheddar
1/4 cup mozzarella
