Chocolate Walnut Balls - No Bake, No Cook, No Eggs, No Sugar | Cooking with California Walnuts
Easy, just needs 10 min preparation, 15 min setting time and 5 minutes of plating time; and you have a wonderful Walnut Chocolate Balls dessert made with tasty @California Walnuts India

Ingredients :
100 grm chopped dry roasted California Walnuts + some more crushed walnuts to sprinkle on top
100 grm finely chopped dark chocolate
1.5 tsp instant coffee/cocoa or chocolate powder
2 tbs virgin coconut oil/butter
Pinch of salt
Some melted dark chocolate
Method :
Take a chopper/small mixie, add 100 grm chopped dry roasted California Walnuts
Add 100 grm finely chopped dark chocolate
Add 1.5 tsp instant coffee/cocoa or chocolate powder
(To make it sweeter, add 2 tsp powder sugar - optional)
Add 2 tbs virgin coconut oil/butter
Add a pinch of salt (to enhance sweetness)
Grind coarsely in chopper/in mixie grind on pulse mode
Transfer mixture in a bowl
Roll out small balls from this mixture
(If you are unable to roll it then keep the mixture in refrigerator for 10 mins to firm up)
Keep these balls in freezer for 15-20 mins
Further take some melted dark chocolate in a bowl
Dip all chocolate balls one by one in it and coat chocolate well
Take it on a serving plate and top with some crushed California Walnuts
Sprinkle some more walnut crush on plate

Healthy cocoa balls made with fruit and nuts
They taste so good, no one will believe these are actually healthy yet they are packed with goodness. These energy balls are loaded with fruits, nuts, natural sugars and healthy oils. Plus they are simple to make, just measure the ingredients, throw them in your food processor blitz, then roll in shredded coconut. This recipe makes 24, but as I keep picking at it I usually get around 20. Best to store them in the fridge, eat them cold or take them out 20 minutes before serving. They also make a great gift idea, wrap them up in cellophane with a tied ribbon or string, perfect for any occasion.

Recipe here: Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Fruit and Nut Balls. Fruit and Nut Balls, or you may know them as Sugarplums, are made with a variety of pureed dried fruits and nuts held together with a little honey (golden syrup or corn syrup) and a splash of alcohol (or fruit juice). I think what makes them so tempting is all the ways they can be decorated. You can roll them in different sugars (white, brown, or powdered), unsweetened cocoa powder, dried sweetened or unsweetened coconut, grated chocolate, and/or finely chopped nuts. But I must admit that my favorite way is to dip them in melted dark chocolate as I love the combination of dried fruits, nuts, and chocolate. They store very well, and while perfect for Christmas giving, they also make an excellent snack to take along on picnics or hikes when you need a quick boost of energy.
