1 tb DARK brOWN SUGAR
1/4 ts CINNAMON
3 tb PLAIN NONFAT YOGURT
IN A SMALL SAUCE PAN brING 3/4 CUP WATER TO A BOIL. STIR IN COUSCOUS, SUGAR, AND CINNAMON. REMOVE FROM HEAT. STIR IN YOGURT. COVER AND LET STAND FOR 5 MINUTES. FLUFF WITH A FORK. DIVIDE EVENLY IN FOUR BOWLS. MAKES 4 SERVINGS - EACH SERVING ?26 CALORIES, 4 g PROTEIN, 0 g FAT, 26 g CARBS, 12 mg SODIUM, 0 mg
CHOL. EACH SERVING IS FAT FREE (0 %).

Ingredients
1 c couscous.
1 1/4 c of water.
2 Tbs unsalted butter- divided.
1/4 c powdered sugar.
For garnishing:
Coconut flakes, your favorite nuts, more powdered sugar.
* Feel free to garnish your dish with whatever you have in your pantry.
Some people like serving this for breakfast with some warm milk, it is like a couscous cereal bowl.
Instructions:
In a medium pot, add water and 1 Tbs of butter and bring to a boil.
Add couscous and continue boiling for 1 minutes.
Cover and remove from heat, let it rest for 10 minutes.
Fluff couscous lightly with a fork, add 1/4 c of powdered sugar and the remaining butter and continue fluffing until all are incorporated.
*Top with nuts, raisins, dried cranberry, coconut flakes and more powdered sugar.

في حلة على نار متوسطة نضع الماء ومعلقة من الزبدة وننتظر حتى تغلي

نغطي الحلة وترفع من على النار وتترك لمدة ١٠-١٥ دقيقة
نفلفل الكسكسي بإستخدام شوكة ونضيف السكر البودرة ومعلقة الزبدة المتبقية

This slightly sweet and savoury side dish is perfect to serve along side many vegetable or meat stews. Really simple it can be on the table in less than 5 minutes.
1 cup (250 mL) water or vegetable broth
⅔ cup (170 mL) coucous
¼ tsp (1 mL) ground cinnamon
¼ tsp (1 mL) ground ginger
¼ cup (60 mL) golden raisins
Method:
Bring water or broth, cinnamon, ginger, and raisins to boil in medium saucepan on high heat. Stir in couscous, cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed. Fluff couscous with fork.
