INGREDIENTS:
• 8 oz (1 cup) cream cheese, at room temperature
• 8 oz (2 cups) cheddar cheese, shredded
• 1 cup pistachios, shelled and finely chopped ( )
• ½ cup dried cranberries, finely chopped (
• ½ tsp garlic powder (
• ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional) (
• pinch of salt (
• finely ground black pepper (
• pretzel sticks, for serving
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Shape the mixture into 14 small balls using a spoon, then place them on a plate. Refrigerate until they become firm, which usually takes about 1 hour.
2. In a shallow bowl, mix together pistachios and dried cranberries. Roll the cheese balls in this pistachio-cranberry mixture. Allow them to sit at room temperature for 15 min before serving. If you're not serving them immediately, loosely cover with plastic wrap and return to the fridge.
3. Insert a pretzel stick into each truffle and enjoy!
NOTES:
1. You can make these up to three days before, store them in the refrigerator sealed in an airtight container.
2. Little pretzel sticks are the perfect accompaniment, but feel free to leave them out.
3. If you would like, use walnuts, almonds, or pecans instead of pistachios.

Cream Cheese Sausage Balls | Holidays| Restless Chipotle
Classic southern sausage balls get a spicy update with chiles! These easy chile cream cheese sausage balls take less than 30 minutes start to finish and can be made in the oven or air fryer! I'll show you how.
Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, these little bites disappear fast! Perfect for the holidays. Freeze well, too!

Ingredients
1 pound bulk sausage, regular or hot.
1 ⅓ cups biscuit baking mix
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
2 ½ cups extra sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
4 ounces chiles, drained and chopped
Instructions
1. Let the sausage sit out for about 30 minutes to make it easier to work with.
2. Preheat the oven to 400F for sausage balls with a crispy exterior or 350F for a tender exterior.
3. Mix the sausage and biscuit mix together with the paddle attachment of your mixer until well blended. You can also mix everything in by hand.
4.Add the cream cheese and blend.
5. Mix in the cheese and the chiles.
6. Form into walnut sized balls and place on baking sheets that are greased or lined with parchment.
7. Chill for 15 minutes.
8. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 425F or 20 to 25 minutes at 350F. Interior temperature will be 165F.
9. Remove from the oven and drain on paper towels for a minute or so.
10. Pile into a serving dish and serve hot.
