How To make Fruity Cereal Squares
1 sm Jello; any flavor
1/3 c Light corn syrup
2 tb Margarine
4 c Trix cereal
Butter 9" square pan. In large saucepan, heat jello (dry), corn syrup and butter to boiling over medium heat; stir constantly. Remove from heat; stir in cereal until evenly coated. Pat mixture in pan with buttered back of spoon. Cover; chill until set, about 30 minutes. Cut into squares. Store at room temperature. Makes 3 dozen squares. -----

Rice Krispie Treats are the most common type of marshmallow cereal treats, but I wanted to share with you the easy formula I use to come up with endless varieties of cereal treat bars.
Go classic with Rice Krispies or Cocoa Krispies, or get creative with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, Fruity Pebbles, Corn Flakes, or any cereal your heart desires!

Fruity Cereal Bars
Fruity Cereal Treats
6 tablespoons salted butter (3 ounces; 85 grams)
1 (10 ounce) bag mini marshmallows
6 cups fruity cereal, Froot Loops suggested
Line an 8″-x-8″ pan with greased parchment paper or butter it generously.
In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt butter. Reduce the marshmallows. Stir until melted. Remove the pan from heat. Stir in cereal.
Spread into prepared pan. Gently press mixture into pan.
Let cool completely at room temperature. Cut into squares.

You’ll Need:
4 tablespoons of European-style salted butter (this will give you the absolute best flavor)
10 ounces Kraft Jet-Puffed Marshmallows (store brand marshmallows may be even stickier, so you may need to ad more cereal if you use store brand marshmallows)
Froot Loops Cereal
8-inch or 9-inch pan (well buttered or sprayed with non-stick baking spray)
Melt the butter and marshmallows. Mix in the cereal. Spread into a pan. Cool. Cut. Enjoy!
