Blueberry Dutch Baby - German Pancake - Food Wishes
There are few breakfast/brunch items as delicious, and visually impressive as the Dutch Baby, and when you consider how fast and simple they are to make, you have to wonder why they aren’t on every restaurant menu. Maybe one day, but for now we’ll just make them at home, preferably with a handful of sweet blueberries tossed in.

versatile german pancakes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks #German #pancakes #recipe
These German pancakes recipe are such a versatile and easy recipe to make and one of the ways i use up excess eggs on my homestead. Since its popular to add just about any type of fruit, berries, syrups, sugars to the toppings....you can make these a million different ways. They taste great and I often make them and change up the toppings to suit whatever time of day i am having them. The base recipe only requires eggs, flour, milk, and salt. I usually add vanilla extract, cinnamon, sugar and top with whatever berries or fruit i have that needs used up along with more cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, and either maple syrup or honey. Give them a try and let me know what you think. Oh yea, if you love sweets, add some sliced bananas nearing their end of time on the countertop before baking.
