Murgh Kashmiri | Kashmiri Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
3-4 tbsp Oil (tel)
1.5 tbsp Red Chili Powder (lal mirch powder)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp Black pepper (kali mirch)
Salt to taste (namak)
1 cup Yogurt (dahi)
Coriander Powder (sookha dhania powder)
1 tsp crushed Garlic (lehsan)
1 kg Chicken
1 tbsp Garlic (lehsan)
1 tbsp Ginger (adrak)
Directions
Take 3-4 tbsp oil and add 1/5 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp black pepper and salt to taste and mix it. Add 1 cup yogurt in it as well to make a marination sauce. We will now add the chicken in it to marinate. Keep it marinated for at least 15-20 mins.
Warm 1 cup oil in a pan and add 4 tomatoes cut in half. Add a few chilies and cover the pan. Let it cook for a few minutes. When the tomatoes are soft, add one tbsp of ginger and garlic each. Add the marinated chicken to the sauce and let it cook in it's own water. When the chicken is about to be ready, add 1 cup of cream in it and mix it well. After 8-10 mins, add some capsicum and some onion cut in cubes. We will add juice from 2 lemons. Add a tablespoon of cumin seeds and garam masala each. Your Murgh Kashmiri is ready. Best served with warm naan and Harri Chutni.

Easy and Tasty Kashmiri chicken aloo recipe
Step 1
Chicken marination:-
Chicken 1/2 Kg
Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
Red chilli powder 1tsp
Turmeric powder 1tsp
Salt 1/2tsp
(marinate 30 minutes)
